75mm HE went from like 80-90% chance to start fire on engine hit to something like 10-20% after the changes… that is 75mm HE, now imagine the smaller calibers.
There’s like 1100 aircraft in WT. obviously there’s no 1 size fits all scenario here. That’s why i bother sharing my takes, too engage in conversation about it. But I don’t respond kindly to “that’s dumb” or “no” without an explaination

They really give the bomber way too much bulk. An overcorrection by a lot. Personally, this seems like a vent thread which is understandbable. It really messed with the game flow.
High emotions do lead to rash behavior though so make sure to watch for that. As much as a hate a lot of stuff they break/change in this game, we need to look at and discuss thing civilly.

Ive been playing since Beta, and I know how this game should be played. Fought for my Ace Tag, a tag you cant buy. I dont know, over 12,000 or so airkills now…but this game is headed in a direction, WHERE it used to be a Skill game…now its a game you can buy off the WalMart Shelf…

I mean, I have a relatively new account, only 2 years old with just under 400 hour and 2800 battles but I try to play with honor and sportsmanship. Look at any of my replays. I start the battle with “glhf” in the chat. I put “gg” at the end when I remember, regardless of the outcome of the battle. People who have played with me can probably vouch for me as well. It’s not a new thing. Good luck out there
people now really dont think the game ever had this but the difference between 2013-2020 war thunder and today makes it an entirely different game and community
pre covid, the playerbase was much smaller and also had a much higher average skill level.
Bomber buff has been the best thing to come to the game in a long while
