Following on from my previous thread now that we have a release date. Just curious to know what the interest is.
Personally, i’ll be purchasing and looking to support Gaijin as long as they support the game and the player base exists.

not happening
Given Gaijin is treating the WT community with contempt, I won’t be opening my wallet until this situation changes SUBSTANTIALLY.
They are not even willing to fix War Thunder when there are years old bug reports, and instead the infantry mode that no one asked for is coming.
I agree that it’s frustrating. There are so many little things in Air Sim that if fixed/changed could immediately improve the game mode and probably increase the player numbers, in turn, enhancing their profitability. The fact Aces of Thunder exists to begin with is dubious since it will clash with Air Sim. If I had to make a guess though, I don’t think AoT was the game they were expecting to make but rather, it grew in scope as they developed it.
Either way, this is where we find ourselves. On one side is an unsupported game mode that can be difficult to populate because it’s unsupported whilst on the other side is a brand new standalone game that people are trepidatious to enter in to because of the history.
I will go wherever the players will be and if you want them to support the game, you’re going to have to support them.
