Because they can’t code their game right. Remember props spawning in fast than a SR-71?
Missile range hardly matters for the meta since notching is reliable and easy to do, at least against a singular enemy
As long as EF just gets aim120 and sidewinders there is no advantage. Aim120…i started to hate this horrible missile, which obviously cant reliably hit above 15km.
Because instead of moving down certain aircraft like the F-18s in BR, they’d rather do anything possible to give it a handicap even though it’s (imo) a bad airframe and Gaijin keeps trying to make it fit where it doesn’t belong.
As for flankers, maybe it was somewhat justified prior to the R-77-1 addition and Su-30SM2, but there’s no reason to continue having difference in airspawn speed nowadays after the low-speed buffs. The SU-30SM2 can enjoy a strong late-game advantage in missile count, missile quality, and radar quality.
U mean AIM-120? Missile that can be notched with blind disable people?
Yes and no, it can be easily dodged but it requires you to give up positioning in order to dodge those long-range shots. BVR shots can force your enemies to give up prime positions in the air conflict, and provide better advantage going into mid-game. But now that SU-30SM2 has a strong airspawn, there’s less likelihood of EFT and F-15s bullying it in early game forcing it to give up prime positioning.
One of the issues with your test is that WTRTI turn rate numbers are inaccurate and especially so at low speeds / high angles of attack. This is because it takes the localhost Ny number and performs a turn rate equation based on it. However the Ny value from localhost is taken in a different reference resulting in the turn rate equation breaking down at low speeds and high angles of attack.
This is why the sustained turn rate report for the F-15 was rejected.
Yeah as if the F-18s wouldn’t instantly airbrake to mach 1.1 at spawn anyway, at least the Sukhois can make use of that double standard.
It’s weird that F-18s spawn at wing-shaking speeds and the harrier spawns at like 600kph lol
IMHO, specifically in F-18E case, Gaijin just hate USA, BR has nothing to it.
The F-18E should have been given with Su-30SM, but not with the Su-30SM2.
What did Gaijin do wrong with it besides adding it too late?
They didn’t give him half of it`s systems/armament, plus they cut off the radar range.
Even if you think my test has issues because of some data pulling issue with WTRTI. Take a look at this Statshark graph and consider that the base Su-27 will beat the F-16 block10 rate at any speed in the actual game.
Btw I use a 25ms update interval with WTRTI, I can notice imediate changes in drag values by very small inputs for example.
So point being, even if WTRTI isn’t perfect in some specific situations according to you or gaijin, it seems to be at least more reliable than the E-M data from Statshark because that data doesnt translate to reality when doing a relative test with 2 different jets, regardless of numbers.
Pretty much every top tier is missing radar range. What systems did they miss on adding?
At least IRST21 and TADIRCM.
And others can? With worse range and the same seekers?
Some other missiles pull better for high off bore targets, accelerate harder, or both. Which makes them better for the meta even with the same seeker. Then the mica has all those 3 things over any other missile.
Not relevant to what I was replying to
At an average 15km head-on, a faster accelerating missile has higher chances to hit, like the mica.
Not relevant to what I was replying to.
What were you replying to then? Maybe if you say that a 3rd time it will help to clarify.
