Are su-27/30 overperforming now?

With how soyuz was implemented, top tier naval is doomed for the next couple years.

Third terminator is still on the way.

When aim120D gets added, it will also be the worst top tier missile still.

Either works.

How are you testing turn rate?

Its bad timing after Soyuz, Terminator, Yak-9 APHE, KH-38, Lmur, R77-1, stabilized T-34 (?) etc.

And they don’t stop. It seems all three game modes need to be dominated by a certain faction :)

Don’t forget infantry. The glorious AK-47 will shine again!

Battlecruiser with German guns/turrets ^^

Mach5 Sams, Foxbat at lolzor BR, DIRCM. And more and more ground maps which mostly suit rus style tanks.

What super buff?

So show the evidence?

According to patchnotes they improved it. Ingame you see alot R77 kill streaks and it seems to ignore multipathing. Especially the latter one is meh.

With the SM2 radar, its the epitome of top tier

Only recent changes to the R-77-1 was on the line of contact release and the change caused it to do a 180 and track nothing. And a second change a day later to fix that issue

I stopped playing EF, its similar to Soyuz. The whole gamemode is unplayable when a certain faction is immune to MP and just farms everyone from above.

Rafale and SM2 took over BVR, so eurofighters don’t have a particular role to play. Especially the german one with nerfed radar.

Incorrect.

Flankers and R77-1 are worse than Rafale ever was. Air RB top tier might go the same way as naval top tier. Too one sided to be enjoyable.

Literally posted some videos here, Su-27SM and the JAS39C Gripen. I do a bunch of circles in full controls, aiming for a specific speed at full throttle. Configuration is always clean and on min fuel (30%)

Btw, with minimum fuel, the gripen (9min) and the su27sm (13min?) will run out of fuel at the exact same time when going at full speed on the deck. So I don’t even needed to go about matching fuel weight relative to fuel consumption, the fuel consumption is different at slower dogfight speeds, but regardless, it would be just nitpicking…

To make a good STR estimation, I need to do that a bunch of times to use some instances where I keep my speed, altitude and rate consistent for a few seconds, then I can take an approximate value.

I think I can get a precision of 0.2-0.3deg/s depending on the plane. Some are easier than others to control.

The 27SM closely matches the gipen at slow speeds and beats it at higher but not by a big margin. The base Su-27 closely matches the gripen at all speeds. When comparing a Su-27 to a su-27sm, the main difference is that the Su-27 is lighter, but the 27SM has more thrust. At slow speeds they are roughly the same, at high speeds, the SM will rate better.

Check post 57 where I posted the videos.

Regardless of what you might think about the precision of my tests, you can just look at the values when I manage to keep speed/altitude the same as best as possible, and take your own estimate from the video. You will see that the gripen is equal at best.

I could do the whole ordeal at slow speeds, but if you thrust my word, they are very similar for both jets at 400kph for example.

Acting like the Rafale wasn’t one sided for a year straight. Difference now is the rafale and SM2 are comparable. Instead of the rafale being being uncontested in the skies like before

Airspawns have to be removed so that Eurofighter and (future) F-15EX can enjoy early-game advantages with their strong flight models and longer-ranged missiles.

Which will be nerfed by Gaijin 0.00001 sec after release?

I’m talking about the current missiles.

Speaking of airspawns, why do things like flankers and F-18s enjoy 1400kph airspawns where some others spawn at subsonic speeds? Stupid GJ decisions
