Yeah so, overall, the su-27 has the upper hand over the F-16s, even the block10. A ratefight is a easy win for the flanker, and they are fairly matched in 1C, except in vertical 1C where the F-16 is better. So if the flanker plays to its strenghts its essencially a guaranteed win.
We switched planes and tested a bunch of others, so it’s not a difference in skill. I’m inclined to say the flanker is better than the F-16 in a gunfight, might be almost on par with the gripen.
This also shows that Statshark turn graphs are wrong, mainly for the su-27, it’s mostly correct for the F-16 block10 for example.
What makes you think that the Statshark turn rate graphs are incorrect?
The fact that it overestimates/underestimates what planes actually do in-game depending on speeds. Some have curves that closely match, some don’t, some do partially match.
Since it’s inconsistent we can’t rely heavily on it to compare different jets. You can however, use it to compare different variants within the same platform, roughly speaking, to get a reference between them, but the actual values might be wrong for some, or all speeds.
In what areas that it over estimate or underestimate? What is your example?

In this thread, people full on “guessing” (read: trying to make things worse that they dont play) using the guise of “realism” (of which they have no sources for) to get the flankers nerfed.
I play flankers, and play them quite a lot. But it doens’t feel right playing OP stuff. I also complained a lot about the ayit when I was playing it at 9.3
You want some specific jet or can it be the su 27/27sm that I’ve tested recently?
flanker is quite obviously overperforming in rate depending on speed. it has been since december of 2 years ago.
su-30sm2 low k best dogfighter in the game now with this buff lol

The best jet overall might still be the rafale due to acceleration and micas. But in a dogfight after merging its very hard or impossible to survive a 30sm2, unless you catch him heavy on fuel and at low altitude

Maybe Gajin should slow down with ru buffs for now. What happened in the last half year and especially the last patches is simply too much. Its ok if this company leans to Ru, but others also want to play this game. First R77-1 super buff and now the Flankers go the ufo way. Not even talking about naval or ground.
flankres are still underperforming in their lift for low speed. Though they’re also comically overperforming in rate
