I hate CAS with a burning passion, but I’m not sure anymore if I’m just trash or if CAS is actually unfair(mid tier ofc. cuz we don’t talk about top tier). Met some Castards today playing Germany 6.0,they were in a sqad of 3. Died to one in my VK(idk. you know that gray prototipe Panther) and then died to a bomb 3sec after spawning in a Ostwind II. So I said fuck it, and spawned my Panzer IV to not waste my backups, 2 crashed half a min after I spawned and i managed to get the guy who killed me the first time with my 75. As always I tiped “Eat shit” in chat to mourn the castards tragic deaths. One said “youre dark” and I replied “And CAS is unfair”. Then 2 of them started insulting me after proudly stating that “machineguns are OP”. So now the topic of this hopefully for me echo chamber, is: Are machinegunes OP?

CAS at lower BRs is zero skill brainlett activity. then you have the AHEAD/ HE-VT SPAAGs that are pretty OP. other then that it’s really depends on if the CAS/SPAA are the same BR or lower/ higher and the higher BR one will just murder the lower BR one (with a couple of exceptions).
Of course they all think bombing helpless tanks is “epic skillz” so they will get highly upset if you point out that pressing space bar over somebody that cannot shoot back isn’t exactly medal of honor material.
This post has to be ragebait, but the insulting name of those who use CAS should be something to be shot down off the bat.
I know you’re mad and all that but it’s obvious you’ll be applying this name to anyone who spawns a plane, and that is a you problem.
