Arcade Air needs its spawn zones protected

I actually disagree here. It is not a skill issue but a knowledge issue. In order to avoid death by campers, it doesn’t require skill, only knowledge. You need to know they are there and you need to know that you have to push your mouse forward. You don’t need to practice this, it works from the get go. There is no art to this, no immense experience that has to be acquired. It can be transfered by chat. Skill issues take longer to resolve.

Knowledge is skill at a point, and that is where it comes back to a PEBCAK issue xD

“dive” is below that point. QM isn’t.

How to dive is obviously knowledge:
no practice needed for diving.
Situational awareness is another issue, but that is why we call it out in chat. :-)

I think it is good that topics like that are being brought up, maybe ppl will get more educated. Cause this gamestyle is not an ultimate. Even from K/D pov, this works in low-skill lobbies where I happen to see like 5-7 ppl hanging, but I also can see this playstyle ends up with 3 kills 0 deaths, 300pts and a loose. The problem lies not even in fact that he can kill a lot, but if u happen to be in such low skill lobby, the main areas of interest on the map are empty of ur allies, occupied by enemy, but I’ll repeat that’s not always the case, I would say vice a versa.

Main problem is that such players are still getting in this low skill (or just unexperienced) lobbies. I’m playing since 2012 mostly 5.3-6.0, and still observe dudes landing while there are tanks on a field and typing in chat “WTF?” and in the same time there could be single-spawn Italian 109 doing this dirty stuff. But again, if this is a decent lobby, this is a part of game, just a kind of strategy and often there are multiple players on both sides playing like that, and these games are most interesting and challenging, there are multiple areas ppl are fighting for objectives, and even if someone manage to get to others spawn, it guarantees nothing.

Ppl just need to make some conclusions, I can’t believe OP never witnessed this stuff not working in terms of wining a game.

Believe it or not, people that tend to do that rarely score 3 kills. From my experience,the median lands between 6 and 9 kills,which is a lot considering that a new player without backups or GE spent has 5-6 spawns. This tactic can and will change the course of the battle if it’s not contained from the get-go: bombers can’t attack bases and players will be picked one by one from the spawn.

I remember a match,months ago,that ended up in a loss because there were 3 enemies in a squad performing this type of “tactic” as someone here already calls it in which they literally picked their preys as they spawned. The chat was livid,they acknowledged the problem but were unable to do anything because if you climbed,you got energy trapped. Even if you tried to use 3 people as a bait,they could still beat you in a turn fight since they used turn fighters.

These people that practices spawnkilling to boost their stats and to feel joy about killing low players play like this for no coincidence: they have a single plane in the lineup so that they can lower the BR in which they will find battles,strengthening their already strong plane.

The main objective is to destroy ground units or to capture points, that’s not debatable. But how can you do that if there’s a plane hanging above you that can and will beat you in terms of speed even if you dive? It happened to me countless times,and that’s why at this point i refuse talking to the usual 2 users here because they think it’s a skill issue or that i lie: i don’t neither of those,i’ve been playing this game since 2015 so i know what i am talking about and my stats in general says the opposite of being a bad player or having “skill issue”. Hell,in air matches 70% of the time i end up top of the leaderboard with the most kills or units destroyed.

in 90% u don’t need bases to win a match. It can help but not the only and supreme win condition

That’s just one of many others. I for example can remember two in a row vs same squad of 2 players doing this. It was domination kinda Ladoga and a frontline. Guess what? In the first case whole enemy team wasn’t able to clear central field from tanks, the only thing needed was to protect home field or cap theirs, but match ended even with all 3 fields controlled by blue. In the second case I just pounded like 50+ ground objectives and that’s all. And yeah, they had kinda 5-7 kills both, probably some few poor guys keeping spawning and hanging over and over, but nothing stopped the rest let say 13 players from NOT doing this, right? It was not the thing when more than half are suiciding what I was talking about.

u can lower BR not only with single plane, not the key case.

Did u even read responses here? they will NOT sacrifice a lot just for you, because this is almost death sentence for them. If u randomly got spawned too close to them, well unlucky. The same random as I got spawn in Wyvern right on the 6 of one of those. Or are u talking about bombers? Firstly, even in that case dive may work, depends on planes. Secondly, by the time ur spawn is being camped, the impact of bombers is minor. Majority of crucial ground/bases bomber kills is from 1st/2nd pick, not the timing they will get comfortable energy position (in most cases)

It might be,but this doesn’t mean that bases are useless. There are people that want to bomb bases,and who are us to say that it’s useless and they deserve to be spawnkilled?

Bht it’s what they do, it’s clear as day. We’re not talking of someone that just got a Tier VII event vehicle out of a crate or bought a top tier premium, we’re talking of deliberately lowering your BR to have more chances to spawnkill

dude, lets be real. These people will be killed in the center of the map if we are talking not about complete newbie lobby, and considering air superiority warriors, we are not. What now, protect a corridor for them from spawn to each base?

You can’t be certain on that. It is one of the way for some people to play 1 spawn, more suitable and efficient for them, but not cause BR lowering, mainly. Why bother spawning when don’t give a fk about wining a game and mostly u will be in a disadvantage, same as eternal holywar from ground RB. No BR reduction right? but way more 1 spawners.

No man, u just saw a person who got mad of this enemy gameplay and tried but don’t remotely give a sht how to do this

not the problem of playstyle, its awful matchmaking. I repeat, if there were no opposite games where this give nothing besides personal K/D boost, I would agree it is a problem, and I assume this would somehow be fixed already. But luckily, it’s not even 50/50, more likely they will loose
