It’s been a few times that happened, and I was kinda getting suspecious of this, but I now have confirmed that I have been robbed of my hard gained RP. Please continue reading for explanation.
So I’ve been trying to spade the Swiss F-5E in the German tech tree, and generally I play air simulator so naturally I decided to stock grind in air simulator as well, it went pretty well, until I noticed that I’m not actually gaining a lot of RP towards my modifications when the match ends. Take a look at the following screenshots:
The last game that I played with the Swiss F-5E, I gained this much:
As you can see, I gained about 32685 RP from that last match. Before entering the match, I was researching the “Offensive 20mm” modifcation, but when the battle ended, I only had 6742 RP, which I added to the “New 20mm cannons” modification.
I was more than half way through the “Offensive 20mm” modification. That can’t be right, I should ave more than 30000 RP to add to other modifications, so I did some digging, and surely I found where that RP even came from:
The RP that finished the “Offensive 20mm” modification came from a match that I left earlier before joining the last match that I posted above, and it is clear that I got robbed of 32685 RP!!!
What the hell is this? Did the bug come back all of a sudden? Where did my 32000 RP go from the last match? This happened 3 times today beacuse I kept hopping into matches and left when the lobby was dead and there were no targets.

I did some more digging, I have indeed been robbed of exactly 65473 research points. Here’s a screenshot of all the battles and their results, from the first match I played with it to the last one that I posted in the previous point:
First game: 49,363 RP
Second game: 50,257 RP
Third game: 23,250 RP
Forth game: 9,808 RP
Fifth game: 1,848 RP
Sixth game: 32,788 RP
Seventh game: 17,574 RP
Eighth game: 11,362 RP
Nineth game: 8,780 RP
And tenth and last game: 32,685 RP
All these games were played with the Swiss F-5E, and if you add up the “Earned” amount that is listed above the activity percentage, you’ll get a total of 237,715 research points, and I’m talkining about the raw amount earned that goes towards modification research, but evidently, because a modification research was finished before the match I was playing ended, the research points that I earn from the last battle vanish entirely.
and as a result, I’m now 65473 research points short of what I should have!!!

Well what do you know, I found another proof:
Before I started playing the Swiss F-5E to stock grind it, I bought an expert crew for it. As you know, once you buy an expert crew, you can grind the ace crew by gaining a specific and high amount of research points, but it also shows you the progress.
And as you can see, the total amount is 237,715 research points that I’ve grinded through the ace crew, the exact amount that SHOULD be present for my modifications as well, but 65,473 research points are missing. This is clear that Gaijin didn’t fully fix this issue.
