i mean for lords sake the Javelin was added in the same patch as the MiG-19 at the same BR, now they are 1.0 different and the javelin is still poor, and is soon going to be the same BR as the F sabres and 15bis’
the onyl blatant counter to this that i can get oof the top of my head was the Hunter F.1, came before the MiG-17, and allegedly was the top dog back then, didnt play the game back then though sadly, and its nothing at 9.0 now, and is onyl getting more butchered that its not going down to 8.7 like said MiG-17, Ivve spaded it, it was frustrating to play, you need to be so passive your nearly soft locked to 1-2 kills per game on the rregular, all the rest get stolen by the team

Yep. They need to add more ww1 cruisers and some pre dreadnoughts. Should help it so that dds don’t fight CAs and that CAs don’t fight dreadnoughts and super dreadnoughts. Also add more Ww1 BCs
Naval isnt the same as GRB and ARB more ships isnt gonna change much adding more BBs and BCs isnt gonna help the DDs or CLs, there are no more CAs they could add that are weak enough to actually be on the same level as the CLs like usuzu, kuma and sendai you could add armoured cruisers but they’d likely suffer themselves, ikoma is a good example of how all of the armoured cruisers would perform and itd just be uneeded bloat nobody will play

WW1 cruisers are funny, Armoured cruisers are bassically just a pre dreadnoughts secondary and below battery on a fast(ish) chassis with some armour, and WW1 BCs would only really exist for the UK and Germany, i mean you have the proposed lexingtons but they would be on par to the Adimaral class, they would probabally be most balanced in the late Pre-Dreadnought to Early Dreadnought era, especcially the UK ones which were glass cannons, the german ones are far more akin to fast battleships

There is a Compression Problem, If there isnt enough ships to fill out the queue if the range is spread far,
Plus the Ikoma is nowhere comparible to a Armoured cruiser in anything bar armour and Speed for the slowest of the armoured cruisers most armoured cruisers carry a mix of 8-10 inch weapons and below, the Ikoma uses the Battleship armament of the time of 12 inch cannons, again forgetting that if these ships were added decompression would happen and there would likely be a bracket where they cannot fight 1930s/WW2 CAs and at worst 1930s CLs and still at a lower BR than Pre-Dreadnoughts, which the Ikoma may as well be, but it does not have the armour

Yes but let’s be real. There will never be a perfect balance. They may suffer but at least the destroyers wouldn’t get slammed by CAs And pre dreadnoughts could replace the current brs that the dreadnoughts sit at so we can move up the dreadnoughts to not fight CAs

Arguable, they had ALOT better armor. Their Turtleback plating was 150mm thick, compared to the QE’s 127mm.
The irony of this is palpable when Germany mains ask wHEre BIsMaRCk? every time any battleship gets added to another nation because they really need their 1940 fast battleship when someone else gets their WWI-era superdreadnought with zero AA and outdated shells

I do think they need to change how the naval tree is laid out to be honest. The current layout where you go from DD’s to CL’s and CA’s and then to BB’s doesn’t work all that well.
Something like the world of warships method with a DD line, CL and CA line and a BB line with the right BR’s might work better. would allow people to research one or two of each ship type from the start.
Back on topic I would like to see the QE’s in WT too but only when the game is ready for them, There is enough of them that you could have several in the tech tree at different BR’s showing the life and development of the ships from when they first joined the fleet to the day they were sold for scrap.
Sadly I have little faith in the dev’s doing any ships correctly…
Also nah, we would accept the Grand old Lady in any configuration.
But at the same time, most of the Japanese Battleships that have been added, have been in their 1930-40s Configurations.
i mean being lauched after the QEs it does feel a bit depressng, plus its not like the QEs had much issue with their armour
