While playing my F-4F and Tornado, I noticed that periodic CM release switches off after a few flares citing ‘EMPTY’ despite the fact that I still have CM left.
I know that when launchung countermeasures, the flare/chaff counter briefly flashes the amount of countermeasures as decreasing by twice the number of actually launched countermeasures before correcting to the actual value. Maybe this could be the reason.
I do see that happening, but this happens even if I had plentiful CM left.
yep same with most us aircraft with low amounts of countermeasures
