AntiCheat issue

Website version.

Just make the same thing, search the laucher in files steam.

It’s not an infection, but an alert (And a possible false positive)… And it can happen, but there’s got to be a reason why it’s not affecting everyone in this regard, hence why I have done what I have done, and asked what I have asked.

But no-one answers…

And even on the bug report ‘We shouldn’t have to do a million steps in troubleshooting’ so yea…

I’m getting the same issue even though it was working earlier today
14:02:20: Failed to load a required component (11, c0e90007).

Same issue. Was working fine earlier but now the same error. Windows defender is saying:

Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.C!ml
C:\Users\brenn\AppData\Local\BattlEye\wt\BE.dll

Same here…cannot start the game. My anti-virus program proudly informs me that it stopped Battle Eye from infecting my computer.

Just adding my voice to the chorus of countless others. It happened to me too.

I fixed mine without adding any exclusions,I deleted the folder named wt in \AppData\Local\BattlEye\wt\
also if it says missing component you need to verify files to bring back the missing files it will reinstall battleeye

Now that is a good idea.

According to a (unconfirmed) Microsoft employee on the WT reddit this is 100% a false positive. They claim to have recieved an email indicating this detection was not a malicious program from their employer.

Another person who claims to have experience with such computer science areas said that the specific file marked as a trojan is a “machine learning” heuristic for the anti-cheat. Apparently it was not signed properly and is being detected as a trojan.

it may have the same error if u restart the computer.

Same mine prevents from updates PERIOD. Uninstalling and gajin support tickets have not been helpful. We are still going through it. Even asked Battleye and they told me Gajin needs to fix it.

this worked for me too

Check the fix listed that you delete the wt folder in the Battleye folder. It’ll regenerate and likely fix it.

BE has virus? hmmm… well well a lot -1 IQ company had idiot staff and they useing AI for fix vulnerabilities and these AI’s useing open source codes lmaooo.

Nvm that can be false positive alert.

Also that is not gaijin issue that is anti virus company problem report this to them.

Current fix appears to be to actually delete the wt folder in the Battleye Local Appdata folder. Let it regen and it should work.
