Oh…Dear. I though you were talking about the other wall. ;)
So I assume you mean that some magnetic grenades from the Brits were given to Russian forces as a part of the lend-lease program?
He’s thinking of the “lempit mine”. It was a general purpose demolition device, not a specific anti-tank one.
I’m sure they gave some to the Soviets, but there is no evidence that it was widely/ever used against panzers. The Soviets had their own AT grenade, but it was designed to be thrown on top of the tank.
Reason why we have machine guns :)
I kinda like the idea and it doesnt even have to be like normal mines for the sake of gameplay but instead can only track you and only give this utility to IFVs and certain light tanks like the M8 Greyhound.
I think the fears for this are way too overblown just like the reaction with dozer blades and changing the terrain, I doubt you can reliably get kills even with powerful mines as thats such a passive way to get kills and WT is a very active reliant game.
It’s a leftover from an event where you could deploy a remote control mine to drive under enemy tanks.
Oh the Goliath? Alr… :/
It would be better to scatter the mines across the map and have them cause damage to players, such as tracks, engines, and crew . This would slow down the attack speed of both sides and make some tanks anti-mine kits useful too.
maybe it should be made like a dead red zone when leaving the map, and not just a message like return to the battlefield and timer there could be a minefield when leaving that would limit the maps, so that when leaving the map the equipment would be pumped up to deal damage until the player realizes that it is dangerous there and he would leave back.
I don’t think it’s a good idea, equally for fpv drones, I still prefer this “CLEAN” tank combat full of aircraft, but I still prefer it like this
