Today 2.29.0.84 dropped today and the change that is in the changelog for Sons of Attila
“The sounds of engines and tracks of enemy and allied ground vehicles are now divided into separate groups. Previously, enemy and allied ground vehicles sounded exactly the same, but now the control of enemy and allied vehicle sounds is independent, giving you the ability to increase the sound of enemy vehicles.”
Enemy and allied engine sound is still controlled over the same slider. Where is this update? If it never comes then remove this quote out of the changelog.
Why do you think/feel entitled that tanky sounds are going to be different just because one tank is slightly friendlier than another?
Dumb thing to have promised anyway. But then the aural environment in WT is dog sht. Sounds are good, too good. They are so proud of them, that they want you to hear all of them, even when you shouldn’t.
You should not be able to hear anything but your own tank unless you turn your engine off.
The expectation that you can hear other tanks comes entirely from other FPS games.
I don’t care. It’s in the changelog so Gaijin has to add it or remove it out of the changelog. It’s not real life. It’s a game. You need to hear where anything is but you cannot if a teammate with Strv 103 or so is next to you. We will never see eye to eye here anyway.
There are much better “just games” to spend your time on. lol.
WT is supposed to be simulation of historical vehicles and warfare. I find it curious that people put up with this game when they don’t appreciate that.
How is this game a fucking Sim when Gaijin is too bad to fix sound? Like how do I hear the fucking Turm 3 on my left behind houses but I can’t hear the T-64 driving 15 meter on my right with nothing blocking it?
People who think this is a Sim are delusional.
