The thing is , ML radar even before the nerf is piss ass. This just show us that you didn’t bother to learn or even to try defeat these missiles. You skipped everything and went straight to the easiest way for short term gain. If at 10.7~12.0 you can’t defeat these missile when they are at their lowest. How on earth your teammate gonna expect you to defeat ARAAM or AIM-7M , doesn’t even need to be 27ER in your case

Defeating a pulse missile require a pop of chaff
Defeating a CW missile require notching
That’s all there is to it.
Think about how much more energy you lose defeating a CW seeker vs a pulse one. All that leaves you vulnerable to a third party etc.
But the phase “which is game over for me” suggest other wise. But sure , if you want it that way. But it still doesn’t change the fact that those missile that you listed can be defeated at ease. You still try to base bomb instead of dogfighting in an air supremacy fighter.
I still fight while bombing/after bombing. Pure bombing would be extremely inefficient for grinding.
Base bombing simply gives better rewards.
I mostly focused on PVP in the M1C. (most of the times bases are taken)
I bombed before fighting in the MiG-21BIS.
The average player gets 0.654 player kills per battle; not offcial data, but pretty believable. While I don’t have a issue with SL, one can imagine the average player with 0.654 KB, with a tech tree jet, struggle to break even SL by the time of unlock of a vehicle; this is before expert crews.
It won’t change much.
If you replace all zombers tomorrow with elite pilots, the win rates would stay more or less the same. It’s just how statistics work.

Collectively speaking, the other one player on the enemy team would also likely to be a zomber.
At these brs, that would require loadout locking and just cause people to leave matches. Dont even know how it would affect the mm itself with the amount of base runners.

I see lvl10-20s in high tier premium fighters base rushing or spamming missiles and it makes me want them to lock premiums until the player gets to the rank below it.

The point is, AirRB is about winning a battle. And YOU with your bombing do NOTHING for it.
It’s only wasting Position and let the rest of the team do the work.

7 out of 8 jets you mentioned can score plenty of kills with minimal effort and can easily get aces if you learn and play to their strengths.
6 out of 8 are just wasted potential used as fighter/bombers.
Sure destroying bases is consistent RP but you should try learning how to be an effective fighter instead (drop the F104 through), you’ll have more fun, it will decrease the chances of you becoming someone’s RP and you’ll become an asset to your team.
I don’t see a problem in locking your loadout for the initial takeoff before the game has started, and lock could be lifted for subsequential landings.
Only issue could be queue times, but I believe many would rather wait some more time for a decent match, then get into a cesspool almost instantly.

- performs way worse to a2g than proper attack aircraft in the same BR.
- only can deliver bombs to the base.

Gaijin brought that upon themselves. Of course people are going to feel hatred towards players that contribute nothing towards winning a game and can’t help in any way except be bait.
It makes no sense that bombing a base gives the same or more rewards when it does nothing than drain a hundred (or two???) tickets.
There is a really simply solution for this that also fits with the “realistic” label of ARB.
Make it so that the primary way win the game is to destroy bases. Increase the number of these bases and increase their HP. Make multiple variations on bases where different types of weapons are most effective. Make it so that winning takes a lot of separate bomb runs. The game would last longer as well.
By doing this you give bombers a purpose. However you also make them a target. You can’t have the entire team be bombers. Enemy would just pick them off with fighters. Interception is key to not losing. Controlling airspace makes things easier.
Fighter and bomber players are finally both happy.
Gaijin please fix ARB. It’s not fighter realistic battles but air realistic battles.

All they want to us is
- watch fighters reach the base faster, take base faster, and snatch all the rewards from bombing the base.

- struggle futilely against enemy fighters with inferior A2A weaponry and follow allied fighter’s fate.
- being nothing but a ‘manned bot’ which gives an extra reward than the normal bot.

Well, I heard Air sim is a much better mode than ARB for playing attackers and bombers thanks to a few extra mechanisms
