Ammo crates dont add!

Maybe if they fix the Tow-2B performance. Right now it’s meh

Yes it will get the most benefit. Now a pantsir can target ordance more freely than any other SPAA.

Will the increase of 4 to 8 be huge for some tanks yea. But 12 to 24 plus what ever return on belts you are free to wif shots left an right and still down 10 aircraft. Presumeing 10 aircraft launch.

God TOW 2Bs are so ass right now every tank always needs 2 shots and it’s still no guarantee :(

Try driving an ADATs to any capture point 🤣

Are you seriously trying to say, that soviet has better CAS compared on Gripen or F16… Nope, not even close, maybe SU34 will change that.

I would say US has a edge with CAS. Especially considering the amount of options they have.
But USSR will often feel more dominant and in control because of their mix of CAS and SPAA.
If it wasn’t for the Vhikers and pantsir i don’t think you would see people thinking the CAS are about par.

The match is usually over before you get half way there :P

F-16C and Su-34 are the strongest CAS in game.

But Pantsir is way stronger than ADATS

So Su-34 has a relatively higher performance

Or you get darted from 3k away because you’re driving a friggen building.

Wiesel 1a2 might be feasting soon too, which would be nice (16 atgm instead of 8)

Wow, didnt know that SU 34 is allready in game.
And when talking about CAS it’s not talk about AA, only flying AA is made in china helos.

But in current state, Soviet top tier CAS is bottom 6 or 7.

And F16 and Gripen are best CAS planes atm.

Wrong, they let us vote for it, and thats what the vote result was

Reason why AA is brought up is because AA is able to impead CAS. Right now USSR is able to use their CAS with less issues compared to other nations.

But this is entirely off topic. Back to ammo boxes.

Literally the only people who oppose this addition are CAS spammers that are afraid they might lose their 4+ K/D in their orbital strikers lol.

Which it won’t even effect them because we cannot shoot that high anyway…

I think there is a valid concern that its doubling the available amount of missiles for the strong SPAA like the Pantsir, meaning they can get away with being less conservative on missile usage and therefore overall stronger.

But I think that concern more comes from a lack of SPAA for multiple nations rather than “CAS Spammers” Especially as its an equal doubling of available ammo. So something like ADATS goes from 8 to 16 missiles and the PAntsir goes from 12 to 24 missiles. There is an inherrent inbalance to begin with as well and its being increased with this change

One more possibility, which vehicles like the Ozelot SPAAG can have, because usually it takes 4 missiles to shoot down or seriously damage a Su-25.

If you think these ammo boxes are a great addition, you’re mistaken. Matchmaking is already terrible—most players just camp instead of playing the objective. If the developers add more mechanics that encourage camping, the game will turn into a camping simulator rather than one that requires teamwork to win and earn rewards. Also, any special or daily tasks requiring teamwork, repairs, or other cooperative actions will become useless or nearly impossible to complete.

How many maps are there where you can just stand in the spawn and shoot enemies, without moving forward?

I understand your point.
They could also make ammo boxes available only for SPAAs that are struggling performance wise, so that added ammo count will increase their usefulness. So from your example, Pantsir could be left with it’s original 12 missiles, while something like ADATS might get 2x8 missiles. This would be pretty interesting to see.

I’m all for Pantsir equivalents for other nations, but as I heard western nations haven’t really built such powerful systems that are standalone and can function on their own.

Also, I would like to see this implemented for lower tier IR slingers, which often need a couple of missiles to completely disable plane/heli.
