Ammo crates dont add!

You can only resupply ONCE from the ammo crate.

I did not read it, but can you resupply ammo crates at a capture point?

Better idea than Gaijin:

Have air-dropped ammunition boxes appear in the match. The ammunition shows up as a parachuted box, but is only specific to one specific vehicle (and shows as a marker only for that vehicle. This ammunition box is then dropped with a sizeable dispersion, centre being halfway between the player’s spawn and the middle of the map. Also, being only visible to the players that can use it. It provides a mixture of risk, realism, and balanced gameplay unlike the current incoming mechanic.

Not sure on that, but I doubt.

Resupplying the entire ammunition stock once is enough ammunition for the entire battle in 99.9% of battles. Most times and with most vehicles I do not even need to resupply once. The mechanic would CERTAINLY remove the need for resupply from cap.

isn’t that the D point from like 2015 when we still had ai tanks.

Also it doesn’t really solve the issue of a big fat milktruck with a drunken pregnant cow’s handling characteristics without self-defence capabilities needing more ammo to shoot down planes.

Don’t think we needed ammo crates but rather just a point in spawn where you could repair and reload, but overall the impact of it seems pretty limited, and ultimately solves just a stupid design choice where a vehicle has to go to a capture zone for ammo and not back to base.

I understand why they opted not for unlimited ammo in spawn, because on some more memey vehicles (I.e Katyusha, Sturmtiger etc) that would get a bit gamey. So this is a nice compromise.

I think a repair point in spawn would still be very welcomed though. Makes sense as the ‘FOB’ so to speak.

Just make a 5 min delay after using the spawn as an ammo refill.

Yeah, they can volley twice, but that would be it.

Some br where SAM exists going to have problems, I don’t think air supply drop will work if it were to deliver by AI controlled air unit.

This also won’t be available for regular tanks. I’ve run out very often in Type 93/Type 81, or out of Stingers in the Ozelot and Gepard 1A2. This would mean the first 3 vehicles I mentioned here don’t become completely useless after firing off their 8 missiles.

Made from the ground up!

I was more meaning a player ability to drop, because players can fly on the ground to get to some places and drop a resupply point. It would be fairly balanced as skill and time would be needed for drops.

the reason why i dont want ammo crate to be added is because pansir will now have 24 missiles instead of 12 lol. its already so broken as it is, we dont need a single pansir to last the entire match.

Works like deploying a drone eh? that sounds good.

This is a good thing. It means less CAS.

Yeah, I would kill to either see or fly something like a Chinook to resupply myself/teammates. But the maps are too small.

If anyone has played WARNO or Wargame knows, that a sneaky SPAA that you didnt see shooting down your resupply helis that are trying to resupply your forward forces is really annoying and its hard to deal with. Even just landing in your spawn to resupply teammates there is probably too close

That’s one of the downsides that I am cool with, also risking your vehicle getting discovered when flying the Chinook lol this could be an answer to the guy above who mentioned no counter play to ammo box supply.

russia is the only usable CAS at top tier and we still dont have a effective way to counter it. pansir with 24 missile will just not give the enemy chance at CAS
