lol all that just to fight a SINGLE pansir that can take you on 3 times if it has 24 missiles. And SPAA has always been able to re-arm. All you need to do is leave spawn and go to capped point.
For the shear amount of rockets the pantsir has if it gets an ammo box it would set it apart from other SPAA even more.
No I understand that the Pantsir is the most powerful SPAA but even then, 1 good CAS player is all it takes to render them useless. You don’t even have to use mavericks, you can use JDAMs as they can’t be intercepted.
SPAA in general needs an upgrade especially western SPAA.

Treat them as a mini nuke. Use up spawn points, can be used when dead or alive.
Means you cannot rush them, but you can earn them fairly easily enough with enough skill.

I mean you can move but you’d need to move really far. Some JDAMs have like 600kg of TNTe.
Cause the conversation about SPAA there is nothing comparable to the pantsir in game.

Oh i know, and i’m guilty of it bringing it into things myself, i just find it amusing how its our collective boogeyman lol.
if pansir really receive an ammo box then its not even fair. other AA like ADATS would get 8 more missile to do what exactly? 8 more missile to wolbble out of the sky at 7km? Pansir with 24 missile is too overpowered.
Then ask Gaijin to add better SPAA for western countries. I’m not against it lol. I’m a US/RU main, I’d be happy if there was something other than the ADATS.
CAS is literally that powerful enough to render the Pantsir useless and it sucks that its the best SPAA because its worse for other nations. The best anti-CAS is spawning in a fighter.
yea AA for other nation aside russia is sad and my problem with ammo box is that it would buff pansir the most. As much as I want a better AA platform for USA, i really dont see a ‘balanced’ option. Something like SLAMRAAM is too good to be in the game. I also think that pansir is too good and RU should get the Tor instead but here we are.
Its the best SPAA but it does not mean its insanely good at anti-CAS. I know you don’t own the Pantsir. Nerfing it down to the Tor would just buff CAS and make top tier even worse.

Fear not, there is hope. In about 3 years time when the snail finally runs out of Magach derivatives, They will be forced to start giving Israel things like Spyder, and BLUFOR will finally have its counterpart.
Is Tor that bad? I rarely run into it so I cant say if its bad or good. From what i can tell from its stat card, it should be good but i cant say
I don’t own the Tor but AFAIK its not bad but its not as good as the Pantsir. From what I’ve heard its slightly better than Ito90.
