Google it. I’m still looking for a “trusted” source, but it’s pretty cut and clear.
Then create a post about it and I’d even support that. But right now that’s not my concern. My concern is about the f18. I’ve already said all that needed to be said and while it’s so easy to ask for more and more and more, what I’ve said is sufficient and factual. I don’t care how many of you there are, when you’re wrong, it doesn’t matter how many people believe it, you’re still wrong. It just means more people are wrong. I won’t be telling you you people any more because all of you have proven to not be worth my time or energy.
I’m right, and I don’t need anyone’s affirmation to be right. I just am.
I’m done responding, consider this conversation over. I’m right, you’re all wrong, if you don’t like it then please by all means, feel butthurt. I don’t care how you feel.
^The right AN/APG-73 radar is for the Swiss F/A-18C Late at 14.0 btw, so it has HMD and HMS.
This is pulled from the game files, their stats are virtually identical @MCNasTY_1998-psn
My source:
This sheet was made by a known dataminer, safe to say what they’ve posted is trustworthy. You can contact them through the sheet if you’re really curious
So looking into it, the the F/A-18Cs entered service in 1987, the F404-GE-402 engines in began being installed in 1992 and the APG-73 radars started being installed in new production aircraft in 1994, I cant find anything about countermeasures.
So the (early) seems to have the correct radar/ engines for the first F/A-18Cs to enter service
Switzerland received their first hornets in 1996 well after these upgrades.
Love the amount of grandstanding in here missing out on the fact that there is more of a disparity beyond just the radar range and countermeasures of these two planes.
Please just omit that the Swiss hornet gets EGBUs, or that it has 1440 KGF more thrust.
And yes, I do think the CF-188A also should be tweaked just like the US hornet, no its not asymmetry, its just selling worse aircraft in other trees.
