American F-15E Strike Eagle Engines

is this post gone actully make gaijin change anything about it or are they gone double down? just like the whole ecomnemy chnages do we need to review bomb or do they actully listhen to people on fourms im curious?

Gave my vote, both F-15E should get the 229. If needed give an AGM-65 equivalent to the F-15I.

In fact, would be much welcome in the Israeli tree since its entirely lacking guided missiles

It’s funny how they think 220’s were predominant in the F-15E but I’ve only seen 3 examples

There wasn’t an early version, it was never a version. It’s made up. Like the A-10 early. Its problem gaijin is making so they can sell a solution.

Tomorrow I’m gonna ping Smin and see what he has to say about it. Not going to bother him on a weekend. :)

We have examples from the past of Gaijin just doubling down, but we also have examples of Gaijin reconsidering and changing their stance.

One thing is for sure: If nobody made a post like this to give feedback and let others show their support/concerns, chances that they would change their stance would be even smaller.

It was absolutely possible with the F-14B(U) & F-14D’s LANTIRN installation w/ JDAM / JSOW and was developed pretty early on at least on the Navy side of things. If it was actually implemented I don’t know but it was a software change at most.

“By modifying the Operational Flight Program (OFP) software and utilizing
the same mission computer interface, F-14D sensor data could provide real-time target
location information from the two primary F-14D sensors, the LANTIRN targeting
system and the APG-71 radar.”

Possibly, as you say though, we don’t know if such got implemented for the Lantirn in the case of the F-14, like the F-15E’s full implementation of the Lantirn, its mainly an issue of both systems not fully being able to talk through the MIL-STD-1760 interface, an issue the Litening and Sniper dont have.

This issue might have been resolved on the 15E and most certainly on the 15I since the latter should be using a Litening II to begin with. Still, its an issue that can be easily bypassed just by making both carry the Litening.

This does raise the question of the F-14D possibly carrying GBU-39 racks on it’s belly racks which would be a very fun addition, while not something that occurred IRL.

Agreed, I’m waiting gajin implemented new engine on the F-15E (USAF) after updated dev server.

I might hope gajin remodel F-4E from USA tech tree to block 53 and with TISEO in the major update " Firebirds" or winter major update this year

Gajin add another equipment on F-4E this year

  • AN/AVQ-23A/B Pave Spike
  • GBU-10, GBU-12 & GBU-16 Paveway I laser guided bomb
  • AIM-9N Sidewinder

The F-4E 70’s in USA tech tree armed AGM-62 Walleye like F-4D but different target designator pod

For me, F-4E (1985) would be own aircraft vehicle between F-4E & F-15A to early rank 8. and battle rating 12.3

Very much a unfinished flight model, it’s missing drag and what not.

If it was missing drag then the E wouldn’t be slower than the C, which it is

I take this from the content creator General Lee which knows more about these aircraft than anyone that I know.

Does he have any proof that it’s missing drag or is he assuming, I like his videos too but it’s not like he knows everything

It’s quite obvious the plane is over preforming, and I’m sure he does, he mentioned it had too little of a thrust curve and too little drag.

The F-15E irl can go around mach 2.8, so I’m not 100% convinced it’s overperforming

based on this the F15E US will not get the 229 engine
the squadron of the F15E in game is 389th “Thunderbolts” and they got the 220 vriant sorry boys…

When has the skin of the vehicle ever mattered when it came to what variant or engine it got
