As BR goes up, tanks get better FCS and ammunition, shortening the time between “I see a tank” and “it’s dead”. This means that the person operating that higher BR tank needs to be able to do everything faster. At low tier, tanks naturally come with limitations like slow speed, bad armor, etc that limit how good a good player can do, because their tank will come up short in some way that will force them to play slower to survive than they might have to at top tier. As the BR increases, more MBT’s show up that can literally do it all and an excellent player can wipe an entire team with map knowledge and good shot placement. So be mindful that any tank which might make the game easier for you might also be making the game easier for someone who is a top performer.

Do you have a headphone? For me it helped a lot, it’s poosible to know where is the enemy whiout one but way harder. Knowing where is the enemy before you see it is a huge advantage. To be honest I am also somewhat new. Level 46 currently, but my highest tank is 7.7 and did not played it yet.
before rank 5 I could get by and relatively decent. Maybe due to good german armor but definitly had some great games with like 8+ kills, which is kinda what got me really into the game. Also though I feel like German rank 5 is a little rinky-dink. My leopard 1 just gets clobbered in every scenario, and against a laser range finder firing a apfsds, my heat fs stands no chance head to head. I think that the advice being given is tru tho, I need to change my doctrine!
I have noticed that German teams at this BR get STOMPED 75% of the time. Not even a Germany suffers just like we all suck lmao. The games I do best in are definitely the ones with great teamates.

The only high tier prems I have are turm III, which I use a ton with my 8.0 lineup, and the leo L44 and TAM 2IP. and I rarely go out in the 9.0 area as I have no lineup. Ive spent money, but I am actually at the BR I play at in the tech tree.

Watch some WT videos on YouTube. I personally like DollarPlays a lot since he is a good (not perfect) player and he shows most of the match with funny commentary. So you WILL see where he succeeds and where he fails and very often, you will understand why.

I watch Dollar, Oddbawz, spookston, justin-plays, and a few other smaller ones. i do understand generally how the game works, and most mechanics within it like overpressure and volumentric, the BR system, economy, game steriotypes, etc. The problem lies more with my performance once im actually in the match touching the keys then all braincells disapear😂
Play a few more matches. Eventually you will learn everything.

I may be bad, but I would not say Im rushed through the tree. I am premium tho folded during winter sale, so maybe im cheating a bit but Idk if id say I went too fast.
Never flank alone on this map specially with heavy/medium tanks. Also always aim on turret(Curved sides. Shoot at the place where the turret sides starts to curve) of T26/T34s. Most of the time it will give you a one shot kill.
I played WT for like 7 years and I barely played any 8.0s.
By the time I had something like a Leopard 1 I was already lvl 100.

But you’re only lvl. 32. You took a shortcut and now you pay the price.
You’re up against much more experienced players and a few people who did the same as you.
Map knowledge, target prioritisation, aim, vehicle weaknesses and weakspots, when to fire and when to stay low.
You don’t learn that from one day to the next.
Ground vehicles are at least much easier to understand then planes.
A lot simply comes down to positioning and knowing how to use your vehicle most efficently.
What are you even talking about? Nobody has to be level 100 to play 8.0, nor did he take a short cut, he just played the game and now he’s playing 8.0.
level 30 is a bit low for 8.0
I dont know If I would have the patience to play like 800 hours and get to max level and only be at 8.0 when it goes up to 11.7, all the while increasing in Sl & RP
