I’m not saying that GJ policies allow them. I’m saying that German law does not forbid them in games since 2018, despite your opinion about what they may be.

Since you asked, I indeed often question myself about why some people think that hiding a symbol could solve anything. Just like moving the dust under a carpet and calling the room clean.

Didn’t ask anything, but the mentality of the edgelord is hard to distinguish from a toddler looking to touch the hot thing, where everyone is saying to not to touch the hot thing.

Righttttt…and every German person was a supporter of said party. Especially all those working in factories. I really doubt that and I highly doubt a large percentage of the German population believed it.

Unfortunately a very large percentage supported it. When you take the time to understand what they were facing and the time period, they were desperate. They saw Hitler as the savior of Germany. Who was going to pull them out and restore the Reich.

There were dissenters but not as many as we would wish. Many of them actually have their lives to disent and many kept silent to keep their lives. Again, the average German person believed in their countries and people are easy to sway. They will get caught up in the fervor, especially when desperate enough.

This is one of those cases where unless I see the statics/documentation, I press X to doubt.

Not being ignorant about what happen in the world does not mean “being an edgelord”.
Nazi symbols in games are not legally banned anywhere anymore. Like it or not.

Of course this does not apply to game policies.

Dude, just because their not banned in real life does not mean you should allow them in the game. Another thing, Australia has them banned.

The “statistics/documentation” is the fact that the Nazis took power at all, and through Weimar Germany’s then-democratic system

Ok, and your point is? that’s like saying everyone in the USSR till 1991 was loyal to the Soviets even after it collapsed. Which is far from reality.

The difference is that the Nazis took power through voting. Hitler explicitly wanted to do things legally, after his failed Putsch in Bavaria. He was constantly at odds with the Sturmabteilung who wanted a violent overthrow of the Weimar government. It’s unfortunate, but Hitler and the Nazis were voted in.

The German people were desperate after the Great Depression and the humiliation they endured at Versailles.

The Soviet government is a faulty comparison because they took power through military force in the Russian Revolution.

Hmm hmm ok. You still haven’t made a strong counterargument. Especially because only after 2 years, the economy of the USSR was worse than it was in 1913. Meaning by the time we hit into WW2, they would still be struggling.

I clearly wrote it two times.

The obvious solution would be to have an option to censore it or not.

Australia ban the use of nazi symbols for political reason. Many countries, Germany included, still do that.

There you go answered your statement about why Gaijin will not add its case close, the end. Can we move on now?

I’m not sure what the economy of the USSR has to do with the Nazis taking power in Germany. But anyway my point is that the Nazis were very popular in Germany at their time and they stayed in power because of their effective use of propaganda. For example they made the narrative of Operation Barbarossa a European crusade against communism. That’s why there were SS divisions for even countries like France.

It’s true that there were German resistance groups, but the fact of the matter is that the vast majority of Germans were in support of the Nazis throughout the war.

I don’t think we are getting through here. They are not an astute observer of history.

Literally I was just answering to your post. If you don’t want an answer, don’t reply in the first place.

America is colloquialy accepted as the United States of America.

What you are referring to is “The Americas”, which compromises South, Central, and North America. Around the world, America is accepted as being the United States…

Thank you for saying that before I typed a reply.

If I wanted to say “North America” or “South America” I would say so, but almost everyone I know calls the USA America, If I was to use America to mean “North and South America,” I would say “The Americas”

My point is you are making it seem like that everyone in Germany supported said party. When in reality that was far from the truth, it was relatively even. You had a very large opposition to the idea of Nazis the issue is they are either missing, dead, or interrogated. A large group with little to no say.

Aside from this, I mention the Soviets because it was the same case, many did not support them but carried on with life cause it wasn’t their business to question others they would probably end up in a grave.

This is the reality of things, you say anything, you become a tombstone or a wooden plaque if you lived under either regime.

Nazism is back.
In ww2, it was defeated warily and for the atrocities committed. Now I’m wondering if he will be defeated and what it will be like?

Through war, humanity runs the risk of ending. What will defeat be like, and will there be defeat?

In my opinion, there is no future in Nazism. Perhaps a survival for a very small part of society, the billionaires…
