Suddenly what is inside the maps matters so much when earlier it never mattered…
You’re just trying to find more ways to argue, just take the L.
Single cap Alaska has more flanking routes (and is larger) than Eastern Europe.
Or maybe you’re just changing your points OR you’re trying to continue argue against me even though my original reply was for someone else in which case you’re not going to change the argument into another thing, especially when you have invaded it.
Then don’t be surprised when i’m only taking into account the original argument and not going into sidetracks about something else.
“you refuse to accept out info” original argument was about popularity of bigger/smaller maps and we proved that small map is more popular than any other map in the game including bigger maps.
You can continue arguing whatever about the maps details but i don’t care, since i’m only here for the original point which was the popularity of map sizes.
Actually the OP post is about “banning maps” and he mentions map sizes, head on battling, and shorter matches etc.
So there’s multiple points here plus you responded to someone and I backed them up with our same points, so this isn’t just a one point conversation. You’re just stuck on “small maps are better” like the dimensions of the square. That’s not even the point.
Except i was having a conversation related to the topic with someone other than OP who made the initial claims.
That guy shouldn’t be making any such points then.
… 🤷
You managed to address to of the most boring Gaijin defenders on the forum in the same post .Well done .
Its shocking that anybody actually defends this crap we have to endure. They are probably the reason why we have it the first place.
The whole game plan can unravel when you look at the mini map and plan your route and tactics only to find that you don’t have that choice at all. They even screwed up the spawn protection area which has no bearing between the map red areas and reality in game.
you realise that only works when there isnt 200,000 people online and queueing right?
Total playercount doesn’t matter, as the matchmaker doesn’t work that way.
That’s the problem, you only realize you can’t be there when you actualy get there. When in other maps like Alaska the new “red zone” is shown even before you spawn your first tank. Seems to be no consistency or care on these changes.
The game play just becomes more and more trash after every update! I have know idea how in the world GAYjin doesn’t listen to its player base on what I would call the largest and biggest complaint, map designs!
Euro Province both large and small are among the best maps in War Thunder.
North Holland is an even better map.
I’d rather see like do something, you like a given number of maps, and the game prioritise putting you on a match in one of these. They’d just need to have default opted-in time cutoff where if after x time of queue you don’t get a match the games gives you whatever.
That way you could reliably get a map you want to play instead of gamble on a 5% chance where loss gives you crewlock.
