I think there is a middle ground. I think a cap on the number of decoration slots that can have bushes attached might work quite well. Reduce it down to 3 or 4 instead of the current 6 and prehaps reduce the size of the bushes by 10-20%. That way its camo, not a moving bush. On some tanks, like the midget tanks. Its definetly an unfair advantage that is abused heavily. It should be harder to spot, not impossible to spot.

Correct. Even with just a burst of MG fire into the barrel. Which is why bushes make it immensely more survivable.

Why isn’t the view through the decorative bushes just like the view when parked behind or in a bush? Any bush over a view port should act just like a real bush in front of the view port. This gives a large advantage in spotting over being spotted. Comparing actual pictures of afvs covered in bushes has zero in common with the bushes in the game.

As a bush user, no they 100% offer a gameplay advantage especially if you have the old 5 Big Bush pack (I do not). And this is a bigger reason why they should be toggleable in graphics settings. If that was an option, I’d immediately turn off bushes (including on my own tank) and never look back.

Guys just farm a bit and get it too. New tanks will come with nets, bushes are historicaly accurate.
Should take his console aim assist, then at least he would be able to get any kills with his flavoured windows

Bushes in War Thunder are like pronouns in Starfield: insignificant and nothing to worry about until you start talking about removing them. Then they’re a serious item that under no circumstances should be touched.
