Ok so the good players playing the Shinden for example, if it went down to 5.0, would be curb stomping 4.0s in it, it is faster than 4.0s, has better cannons and is already dominating 6.0-7.0 lobbies when a good player flies them
How is this any different from the WMA301 going down to 8.0 and stomping people? Or the images I showed you how I 1 + CAS death leave and still manage to get 5+ kills. You cannot balance based on one person. For every 1 good player, you have 10 really bad players just trying to have fun. You balance based off the median.
Oh sure you do, and that’s fine, but this leads to problems like the Wyverns, I don’t play ground much but in air Wyverns are a massive plague, they don’t often get many air kills, but they destroy bases and ground targets and can end a match in 5 minutes, players that don’t get air kills led the Wyvern to be at 4.0 with the performance of a 5.3 or more.
Then their win rate would be high though and should be bumped up.
But the players can’t kill air so it’s low
Then their is a flaw in the design. But destroying all the ground targets and winning = a win.
So you agree that the Wyvern should go up? Ok cool, so if we move something lower so it is op it needs to go up again, if we move it higher and it does badly we need to move it down again,
That would be balance. But right now, none of the russian vehicles are getting moved up like they should. The 2S38 is still at 10.0 some how, and it has needed a BR increase for a while.
I don’t know enough about the 2S38 to say what, but it could be because it is a premium, most premiums are undertiered and that’s to increase sales
10.0 russian tank with Gen 3 thermals, proximity rounds, IRST tracking, 48 mph, -5/+75 elevation, stabilizer, unmanned turret (no crew loss with a turret hit), with a 0.5 second reload rate on APFSDS.
Like I said I don’t play ground much so I don’t know if that is op or not,
It is the definition of Soviet P2W. Its strong even in Br11 matches
Ah right, what do you mean Soviet P2W? Every Soviet premium is P2W
Most are strong and a pain to fight but probably only need to move 1 to 2 stops higher, but a few are completely OP. This is one of the latter. 2S38 is 10.0 and probably would be perfectly fine at 11.0. I see them all the time in 11.3+ matches.
It is 2015 ish vehicle I think. Its one of the most modern vehicles in the game right now (could be wrong on that though)
It is still in the Testing/Design phase. All the numbers are napkin “best case scenario” It was supposed to go into service this year (2023) but they are having production issues and getting their butts kicked in Ukraine is hurting its release.
Its not even in service yet.
It would be the same thing as if the US line was given the M5 Ripsaw.
Ah… yeah, well fingers crossed for Challenger 3 in the next major update then. Only sounds fair to me
Can we first get the multi engine tanks fixed? I mean… Sweden is the only nation with a tank that can fully operate with just a gunner (the gunner has driving controls in the S Tanks) and Sweden, Britain and a couple others have dual engine tanks with dual transmissions. Meaning they shouldn’t be dead in the water when one goes down, but I guess since that doesn’t benefit russia we will never see it.
True, also need Regenative steering and the list of missing/incorrect things for the Chally 2 is mind boggling, but it would hurt the top tier svoiet line up if other nations got stronger
Everyone is missing their anti-era rounds.
M829 (USA) is from 1992. Yet we have russian prototypes from 2023… The M829A3 and M829A4 negate russian era entirely. They work in any NATO 120mm canon (but were originally designed for the M1A1).
Germany: The L44 (Starting with the Leopard A1A1) has anti-era ammunition. They could be outfitted with it. Funny enough it can also use the US M829A3 and A4 etc. Which both are not effected by the latest generation of Kontakt 5.
Britain is missing its L27A1 round. Which also defeats up to and beyond Kontakt 5.
Also the Germans should get the KF-51 since russia is getting prototype tanks.
And yes, we do have 130mm variants. The M1 Abrams and the German K-51 can be quickly changed over to the better 130mm canons, but they don’t due to old stockpiles of ammunition. Technically all of the NATO nations should be outfitted with anti-era rounds.
Modern EKE rounds are long overdue, however I am not sure any public data exists on some of them.
We all know why this stuff is missing in game, despite being 30 years old now.
Seeing a trend yet? Only one nation isn’t exempt from its modern technology, everyone else…
We have L27A1 on all chally 2s, but it cant pen the ERA, do you mean L28A1?
But yep, couldnt agree more. I play air more than ground and having to deal with the Tornado F3 vs Mig-29 at the moment, Should have been Tornado F3 vs Mig-23MLD.
