and my point isnt that the merkava participated in said war, my point is that assuming that the israeli wouldnt have taken into accounts tank combat when they fought one of the biggest tank battles in history is stupid.

well the Merkava has been in combat constantly since it’s introduction into service, especially in urban and desert enviroments making them some of the most combat tested MBTs in the world

As someone that works on military contracts often and often has to work with and report on classified materials, no offense but if your supposed “friend” is spouting off info that he was likely never made privy to (but for sake of argument let’s say he does know) then I think he should be reported to the DoD since he is putting national security at risk. Don’t you?
And I would love to see the Abrams perform better in game, but the key word here is game, honestly it doesn’t matter and getting into semantics and hearsay arguments really is a waste of time. If someday better documents for materials and vehicle composition are released and confirm what most of us know in our hearts, then great, but if not then also too bad.
