Ight. so if you haven’t heard somehow, the Abrams is artificially nerfed because its raised too much from the chassis. TBH, American ground isn’t doing to well. partly because of the new M1A1 CLKBAIT, but a revision of the Abrams is probably in order to make it about as viable as Russia, Germany, and Sweden. also most nations have either some sort of Russian/German sub-tree (Ex: Finland, and Hungary) just a little revision would do wonders. Thoughts and opinions?

they are never going to do it. The abrams if modeled correctly would be the most heavily armored tank in the game, Even the M1A1s had depleted uranium hulls.

The Merkava only has Chemical protection on the top of the tanks, and they were made for urban combat, over fighting other tanks. I’ve actually seen their IRL armor protection, and its lower than even the challengers. There is virtually little to any armor on the upper and lower front plates.
that weight means nothing when most of it is from the side armor and the engines lol The Merkavas are really only good vs small arms / hand held launchers and IEDs. Like the footage from gaza is proving this. Its good at keeping some of the crew alive, but the design of the tank itself is not going to help it vs an actual MBT

besides that there is a reason abrams lost every time it competed against leopards.
the only thing which might be true is the turret being raised a bit to high which exposes the turret ring.
Its a common mistake that happens on the leopards as well by gajin

Also that’s not what “artificial nerf” means.
Models are made as accurately as possible irrelevant of alleged balance. BRs will adjust balance, models will stay as accurate as possible with available data at time of creation.

That is not true, the Abrams isnt too far to being correctly armored maybe just by a few dozen mm, there is enough docs posted in the forums Even by american mains that prove this, if You wanna take a look go into swedish trial docs and armor upgrade packages from the US, anyways the DU hull has been disproven more than 10 times already only sepv2 has DU hull

Upper plate is thicker and more modern than any Russian tank in-game. The Lower plate is also thicker than the Challenger.
Merkava’s engine is the same size as most modern tanks.
Untrue. Multiple sources of them taking and resisting Kornets even on early Mk.4 models. Chinese testing of the Merkava Mk.3 also showed that the engine could withstand 3BM42 frontally. There’s no reason why a thicker and more armored front plate can’t stop more.
I sense bias. There’s only been two confirmed destroyed Merkavas and I have both videos of them.
