Got killed by af aa chasing a DODEC member who was using it as a bubble to hide in and spam R24R’s from. We lost because of a design flaw.

Yeah, would be nice. But remember, we can’t have nice things and Gaijin hasn’t even fixed plywood bug yet, severe damage has been broken ever since its introduction and all changes to 20mm cannons effectiveky made the game much worse than it used to be.

I got killed by the airfield on britain in the 50mm me262 because I couldnt turn fast enough to avoid AA after a guy damaged my elevators.

The funniest part is the guy didnt actually get the credit for my death, it just said aa shot me down lol.

If that airfield was further away I wouldnt have died and would’ve RTB, no clue why they havent changed the design, the attacking team can just reset over and over using the AA cover.

Because Gaijin mostly changes things for the worse, that’s my point. That’s the reality of WT.

Once somebody asked for HE shell of ME-262 to have tracer removed, since normal HE shell, like the one in default belt, had historically no tracer.

So Gaijin removed tracers from Air Belt, while 5cm M-geschoss had a tracer version which was what would have been used, as tracers are extremely important for real life WW2 air to air gunnery.

Meanwhile the HE shell retains its unhistorical tracer.

I would love to have this map fixed. Don’t get m3 wrong. Just don’t have too much hope.

see that dot? That’s the last guy on their team circling AF AA and trying to bait me into it by repeatedly running away. Notice that I’m not staying in space and waiting for him to be slow and full of fuel to pounce, our energy states are equalized and he’s in a good and fast jet so he could fight me if he wanted to.

Unfortunately he’s part of the lemon and oranges crowd (StatShark - See All Player, Missile, and Vehicle Statistics) so he’s not gonna do that and will abuse a cope out mechanic instead.

So, so tiring dealing with this nonsense practically every game.

Honestly I uninstalled the game, I can’t deal with this nonsense anymore, taking a solid 3 month break and I’m gonna go play some good games for a change like gloomwood (anyone reading this, go check it out, dillon rogers is behind it and he’s one hell of a gamedev)

At this point, after getting chat banned for a year for a hilarious reason, after WW2 balance has been abandoned, I no longer feel the obligation to NOT camp the AF. I mean, I don’t sit there, but I use it to gain speed and alt and to reset fights.

How many people have complained in this topic? It’s literally a few guys over and over + some newcomer every now and then. Which means… playerbase doesn’t care.
Do they care about plywood bug 2.0?
Nope.
Do they care about Yak-3 family running rampant along with Fireball and other pay2win premiums?
Nope.
Recently I noticed a single complaint about horribly pay2win T18E armored car. But that was like 1 mention in years.
So overal? Few people care, rest doesn’t.
So should I care?
Not really, it doesn’t help at the moment.
So I’ll just stop.
Maybe once chat ban ends in a YEAR I’ll go back to being decent.
Until then? I’m going to be the bad guy, knowing I’m a bad guy. But such is life.
I’m also buying the foliage bush B for maximum pay2win in ground RB.

  • Air RB missions now use the same sets of anti-aircraft guns and SAMs guarding the airfields as in Enduring Confrontation missions. The set of AA located at airfields depends on the session Battle Rating:
    • There used to be three sets of AA used at the following Battle Ratings: 1.0-2.7, 3.0-7.3, 7.7+.
    • There are now seven sets of AA used at the following Battle Ratings: 1.0-2.0, 2.3-3.3, 3.7-4.7, 5.0-6.3, 6.7-7.7, 8.0-10.3, 10.7+.

If I read this right, You can now make attacks on people near airfields in ARB if you are fast and erratic enough.

no.

At least they could make it so the flak uses proyectiles instead of a timer based perfetly aimed hitscan attack.

I wish AAA was consistent.
Sometimes you get lasered the moment you think of entering within 3 km radius of AAA, and other times you have two planes circling 200 meters above you for more than 1 minute, preventing you from getting a clutch win while solo.

Im pretty sure is because of the fact that WW2 AAA is split in 2 parts

The long range Flak (4.5km to 1km)
and the SPAA / Small AA emplacements (1km and below)

The first one is the “main culprit”, it is the hitscan explosion that spawns near you
The second one actually uses proyectiles and very inconsistent AI, they have excellent aim, but seems like they have a random cooldown between bursts and don’t actually try to constantly aim towards you.
In case of emplacement doesn’t matter since they snap to position instantly, but SPAA have traverse rates that can be abused.
