Tf is a “all aspect radar” all radars have an ACM mode, if you can’t lock those, just pull guns on them, if they’re moving too slow to lock, then they should be an easy enough target. TWS is relatively useless unless your playing air RB, or want to lock multiple targets with your sparrow.
All aspect means that it’s SRC PD so it’s harder to notch and chaff has no effect. the phantom has normal SRC so chaff will work on it and can be notched.

Considering the F-4 has a good gun set up, it’s super easy to aim, comparative to, the F-15, and F-16, or even the Vigg.
simply skill issue, I’ve been taken out many times by sarh missiles in helicopter. You just have to figure out what you’re doing wrong.
I’ve used guns on the F-4, and it does horrible damage to helicopters and most of the time they just lock you with theirs and shoot you down before you can kill them.

Do you fly high up? Do you not stay low, and keep like, 100-500ft off the ground.
By what aircraft? if they have all Aspect or TWS radar then they have a easer time shooting you down unlike the F-4.
i always fly low so I don’t get shoot down by the pantsir.
Then how is a heli pre-cursoring you arriving to them? The only way they could fight back is if your on your second pass, or they are cheating.
They always get me on the first pass, but I fly on the outside of the map for most of the game since I don’t carry bombs, so they might be seeing the smoke trail from my sparrows or because of the RWR.
Idk then, probably someone seeing you, and using the “air alert”
