Because the game was designed from the beginning to be combined arms. A game mode with no planes splits the player base too much and invalidates an entire class of ground vehicles (and planes). And Gaijin has repeatedly stated they wont do that.
And SPAAs at top tier are more than capable of killing planes.
Also, use one of the dozens of existing threads
Also, copy pasting a new topic when your first one was already closed (because you arent using the existing threads) is not a good idea.

The game was originally an MMO-optimized remake of Il2: Birds of Prey & birds of steel with more accessible control setups (mouse aim, instructor).

War thunder is IL-2 Birds of preys online expansion.
the game was built for planes to be about planes, Ground was made to be Air vs ground.
do wish there was a tank only mode too but that wont ever happen…

Who explains why the reward for shooting down a plane is so low? Besides being difficult … what a big incentive.
especially if you think about how many spawn points a plane kill takes from the enemy team.
No matter how stronk they are, if they are boring then people wouldn’t want to spawn them.

Sad part is that they only spawn them when i decide to main spaa.
War thunder doesn’t support using tanks in a ground game mode. Hmmmmmmm. Enjoy the world of cas spam
Player base actually splitting implies there’s an inherent problem with the combined aspect of the game.
You could still use strike aircraft in ARB and AAs in GRB, so nothing would be lost.
Gaijin has walked over their word many times.
There are several topics made about it. Implend TO mode in WT and Gaijin premiuim plane sales collapse before christmas.
Strong SPAA leads to no planes spawned, no SPAA played, and the few planes left to feast before being one tapped by finally spawned SPAA, though ground guys are ready for another post right when they are killed lmao.
