At least for me.
Gameplay is stale, with very little to do besides just fire missiles at each other. The objectives havent been updated in years, likewise no new maps.
Also, the maps are too small, and need to be more than doubled.
FInally, whatever nation has the Rafale. always wins due to how OP it is.

The best way to do SIM for me anyways is to add far more objectives then just kill players for rewards. We should have a reason to multirole and deal with ground targets more. Im hoping that they will add new SPAA to SIM as an event to test or even realistic that has players foxus on downing enemy SPAA to open a hole for the more CAS focused aircraft to focus on push and taking territory by destroying vital ground or naval positions, hopefully give ASM more of a purpose. Then the more air focused aircraft need to guard their CASZ from CAP players. Idk i just wish gaijin would test more with events. It doesn’t need to be a main focus but trying new game modes would be great. Hell that defence gamemode they tried few years back was great where defenders only had 3 lives and attacks had unlimited.
Yep, I completely agree. Its why i’ve almost entirely stopped playing ASB, even at lower BRs. There is just no meaningful gameplay there and bombing the same boring targets a thousand times has gotten old,
Id kill for a CAS focused gamemode even if it didn’t give rewards id play it. Id like rewards but being able to use the F-5A(G)-40 and the MFD Tornado with Kommorans would be amazing.
Yeah, that would be good. Its a shame that ASB does have naval targets, but its so badly implemented its almost not worth mentioning
Not like using ASM is worth it, they dont act correctly nor do they do enough damage, its better to use standard AGM’s against them.

guys, i know SB is a garbage mode right now and its barely alive. but couple of days ago i could at least choose a lobby. that was the question: what happened, what did i miss?
Nothing of note happened. At least none that came to mind.

Try queuing for more than one region. Im EU based, but always queue for US and EU because more lobbies.

i dont know how it works, but im quite sure it cant be THAT dead. like, 1 lobby on top tier. seriously? rafale aint that scary.
so probably it something on my side. but i have no clue what it can be.
There is the new BR brackets added recently™ perhaps players are simply playing a lower bracket.
Currently top tier is 14.0-14.3 So probably a lot playing 13.7 and looking at the available lobbies that tracks
(EU and CIS right now)
So next time it changes, top tier might become more populated again
