Air Simulator is a waste of time

Sim EC economy is completely tailored around premium.
Somehow the snail thinks that all sim players are so dedicated, that they will buy premium anyway.

This complete useful actions system is so flawed and encourages the player to do the minimum effort and then wait. And play as much pve as possible.
How does this not destroy a gamemode where 2 teams play AGAINST each other?

Skill issue and not understanding how sim really works.

For a game in French F6F which took me an hour (4 full 15 minute reward blocks with two landings) I got 21k RP.
Yes in a 320% RP mod plane compared to A-10 464% that game would be closer to 30k RP in A-10.

In low BRs 15 minutes is plenty of time before you find and get your score so it is quite easy to not need to wait for another block. I could see how it can be an issue in higher tiers where radars and all that make it much easier to find targets.

It’s when they sit in rooms where many don’t go, where if the question is raised about the problem the occupants of those rooms and the mode in general start gatekeeping and shouting down the question, that it becomes an issue.

It must’ve been so obvious to anyone paying attention that this sort of thing was happening, but the ignoring of the issue made a situation that needed to be dealt with.

And I’m talking of the planes doing doughnuts on the runway… The killfeed should’ve been obvious, and the consistent ‘non complaint’ of the situation, or choosing another spawn point…

There’s too much misinformation being thrown out in this thread. The main thing about air EC sim is that it operates under the Useful Actions system.

What no one has bothered to point out. OP is clearly showing a very high amount the deaths. That is why his earnings is so garbage.

It does not matter if you earn activity within the 15-minutes. Every time you die. It will reset the UA timer. Meaning you start over to build up activity, aka earnings. And this is only 80% of the reward output. The other 20% is landing back at the airfield once UA moves to the next interval.

You want good earnings? Stop yolo suiciding like a zomber and stay alive. That tactic is not efficient in grinding. The only reason some do it is when mission score is the priority, and mainly when events are active.

Any YT tutorial video you find on this subject that says otherwise is seriously gaslighting you as click bait.

64 thousand isn’t a lot. Your logic is oh 64 is enough. It’s incredibly little, especially as you travel up the tree. Given that you also hid how much you have. Tells me you have not experienced the feeling of being broke. So your defense is rather flawed in so many ways,

Victory also adds 60(?)% to final SL reward. It’s 60-80K for me usually.

They dont give a shit about air sim. The fact they added RWR IFF in air RB but not SIM where it’s 1000 times more important now with the copy paste mixed battles.

i make more than that in 2 games with a boat on premium.

I’ve seen folks get the same amount in 2 matches. Or even more than that. You’re trying to argue that the reward in SIM Air is still good it’s not. Sim is meant to be high risk and high reward and right now it’s High risk and a mediocre reward that funnels more people to RB cause they would get far more in the long run in both Research Points and Silver Lions. Now I dare you to try to get that same amount in SIM Air without Premium in 1 hour. You won’t.

It’s f2p game. Play better or buy something.

Sim economy is not good. It was gutted to ‘solve’ the botting problem. In reality all it did was fuck over real players.

What I feel made the true issue, is people ignoring it and not actually thinking about what they were doing, and how it wasn’t actually good, compared to using it as a free-ride to play PvE and not be under threat in the slightest…

I’ve heard that statement so many times. “Game is free” “Just get good”, if a game is purposely designed or poor decisions are made, you cannot “Get better” or “Play better”. Poor decisions from the higher-ups affect this.

This is like trying to claim you can change the chances of winning a slot machine game when those machines are purposely designed to give the illusion of such, hence the term “The House always wins”. This logic is also used for Carnival Games; such as popping the balloon with a dart. Many of those balloons are partially filled with the dart tip being blunt and not pointy.

Now how does this relate to War Thunder, poor decision-making is why Sim Air is right now for several years one of the smallest player counts in the game. Compared to Air RB and Air AB.
You’re going to gain far more from either one of those than you would wasting 1 total hour of doing mostly nothing.

I can probably get down around 3 to 4 matches and potentially far more RP and Silver Lions than I would in Air Sim.

4 matches or even just 2 would have made half of what you would make in a single Sim match.

I don’t know. I played RB or AB last time 10 years ago.

You could compare with AB and RB if the simulator mode had the same missions.
But there is a confrontation here. This is different.
Check ground SB - there are good rewards with the same type of gameplay as in ground RB.

Every f2p MMO game with economy I’ve played got harder to play the farther in “level” you get, if you don’t buy premium account or premium stuff.

Check todays Update:

  • In Simulator Battles, RWR will now detect all radars and ARH with overlapping frequency ranges, regardless of the type of signal, as in Realistic Battles. For example, SPO-10 previously could not detect radiation in PD modes, but now can. The Friend or Foe (IFF) function will also work for RWRs capable of identifying exact radars, which means the detected radiation from allies will not be shown on the indicator of affected RWRs.

Yeah,but same amount of RP u get in two RB games taking half of the time it took you in sim.

With quater of enjoyment and fun where everything that is not a fighter is useless or shoehorned into very specific playstyle.
