I don’t understand how Sartt managed 31 RP per minute besides vibing more than I did.
Sputnik got 9188 base RP in 93 minutes with his F-1C. 98.8 base RP per minute.
And 4677 base RP in 46 minutes with the same aircraft. 101 base RP per minute.

I just did the math for you that takes off premium account and premium aircraft, and even the base multiplier of aircraft going straight to the base RP.
Here’s some air RB math:
5450 RP for 5 minutes.
5450 / 4.76 = 1144 base RP /5 minutes = 228 base RP per minute.
So while it’s higher than my 132 RP per minute sim match just now, I also didn’t try hard in that sim match.
Congratulations, you can bomb bases for 1.5 hours. I bet you’re happy with a system that punishes actual gameplay. Heaven forbid the game rewards someone skilled enough kill 5 people in 5 minutes and then reset for 20. Until i can make as much as I did in 30+ kill games pre Useful Actions, the system is fucking stupid, and anyoe defending it is a fucking retard

AI overhaul is needed for superior CAP in air RB and SB.
Until then… you play EC the way it’s been played since 2018: Bombing, sometimes fighting, capping A, taking out AI.

Yes EC could need some imrpovemnt, in mission design and so forth. But still.
I don’t play for reward. I play to win. Under the current system you are actively punished for exceeding X amount of activity (effort) per unit of time. And similarly you are punished for having a period of extraordinary effect on the match, and then a lull as things reset.
Why do you not want to be compensated for your displays of skill?
I want to be compensated for my entire effort in the match, not some arbitrary maximum gayjin deems fit per 15 minutes. And in fact depending on how the match plays out i am very in the negative despite a 3-1 or even 5-1 KD, because every kill after 2 in a 15 minute period is worth nothing, despite the spawn cost always costing the same.

Jokes aside, after the discussion yesterday in the Update thread I’m also not so enthusiastic about it, but haven’t been able to check yet how it was implemented.
I’ve seen enough hints that at least some modern RWR’s (seen stuff about Harrier Gr.7 and F/A-18’s…) are able to distinguish between friend and foe, but those examples are pretty modern and apparently based on datalink and database comparison, and would only be able to filter out signals of a certain type, so if the type is present on both teams it would still not know what to do -which is basically the one situation where this would help in the game…
As for whether it “waters” don the simulation game mode, well, unsure abot this as well -considering it is a game mode where we still lack a lot of controls, but then have large RWR and radar displays even isf not present in such form in the aircraft cockpit model, or take on job of both pilot and WSO/RIO/…, nameplates, etc…
It’s not a hardcore sim like DCS, but at the same time I also don’t want it to be RB+.
For me the waste of time would be flying something else just for the grind … I play for the fun, this is not a job ;)
Regarding the changes in RWR, at least now I don’t have to listen the anoying lock sound in the airfield when you are close to an Su-17/22 or Kafir Canard that have allways the rangefinder on
Did I miss an update where they changed the AI for SIM? I swear the bombers and surveillance aircraft are flying more aggressively, change direction when engaged and make Mach 11 dashes for the border as soon as one of them goes down. This is very different than their predictive behavior they used to have (other than the Mach Jesus runs for the border which has always been a thing, but now it seems more frequent).
This is not the gotcha you think it is. Having to work your gameplay around silly time intervals in an unpredictable environment only serves to nerf rewards for legitimate players.
