Indeed at least argue against the points he made

just getting ahead of the curve… the frequent ‘you only play Ariete’ and ‘you’re a 1 death leaver’ (Im usually not… but even if I were…) get quite tiring…

Damn is everyone just having a measuring competition on this thread?

Why? Does anyone care?

If someone wants to play out the full game and keep repawning… great. Good for you. Knock yourself out… but when I play sim a few things can happen.

  1. I crash on takeoff… yes, I even did it today.
  2. You hit a tree.
  3. You crash on landing.
  4. Someone bombs you on the runway… sigh.
  5. You black out and hit a mountain.
  6. You wing rip and dont make it back (I always try)
  7. You get shot down.

Now all these happen in virtually every game… and guess what, if I’ve been in the same match for an hour, 2 hours, or 5 minutes, I can… I know this is hard to accept… LEAVE THE GAME.

Does anyone care? Is this really valid criticism?? Weird… where in the TOS does it say you need to play an entire match…

and I play a lot of ground sim too…

So 95% of my prop games are in ground sim… but some players only know about air sim… those spaa are deadly…

No.

It seems I mention behaviour I find unacceptable (without mentioning names) and then Im a KD padding 1 death leaver… :p

I’d rather be playing

The dark side of sim community being small. People be beefing over dumb stuff.

One thing I’d raise is committing to playing at least 30-45-60 minutes can help keep lobbies up and attractive and make more people join when otherwise they’d have gone to play other games checking lobbies. I’ve had very meh games turn around to being actually fun after staying there and suffering for 10-15 minutes as people finally joined.

Yeah, players following you from room to room is pretty dumb :(

Not really. The point the feetpics is making is that he is chasing a challenge. If you represent the only challenge on the enemy team then why should he keep playing when you leave? After you leave and other experienced players leave why should he punch down? It stops other players from wanting to fight.

Collapsing a team isnt always fun.

The greater problem is the flavor of the day br rotations.

The last time I was in the same room as you was months ago and it was right when the brackets reset. I picked the most populated of 2 available rooms and you cried bloody mary over it. You still are. I don’t think I have seen you in any of my games for 6 months and it is obvious you are still playing Air Sim.

It allows piss players to just seal club. Mirage 2000s4, f18A, F14A vs Vietnam aircraft at 11.3. If you need to use a f18 to kill a mig 21 then get help.

Don’t fly any of those…

My most flown aircraft is the MIg-21s with 10G missiles and no flares… you know, that insanely OP one that everyone owns…

:p

So what?

I never accused you?

Mirage 2000 CS-4 is one of his most played planes as of late.

Anyways back to the topic; people leaving at slightest opposition is not uncommon.

He’s 10:1 in the Kikka and this is on a day where it’s top of the bracket. I was by myself in this game as well so it was not an issue of the whole squad pulling up.

Also this is call out from a week ago to go save wingalingdragon from Japanese horde at 4.7/5.0. Wing iirc only has eclipse16 to rely on in this case and I think KrinnyTTV was squadded with around 3 other people.

The original question was why some BRs are dead. And the real reason is that because the gameplay in those ranges suck. Earlier I played Sabre on the only available game with a population; it was Denmark and I only saw one other player and it was a bomber that I would never catch up to.

Props has some dynamics to it as long as all of the good players don’t end up on the same side. Top tier sometimes can be interesting. Everything else that is in-between is largely flavor of the day slop though.

Lmao

So dont fly those aircraft during the 11.3-12.3 rotations.

Fly them in the 10.3-11.3 rotations where they seal club everything below and at their BR

So the solution to having to deal with seal clubbing planes is to only fly planes when they are doing the seal clubbing?

And people wonder why certain BR ranges of sim is dead.

At least the 10.3- 10.7 aircraft have a chance against 11.3. The only outlying flight model is the MLD which nearly rates like the f14 A.
