I don’t get why we’re stuck with the same 10 year old Howitzer/AA/Pillbox cluster system when Air Sim has a much better and much more aesthetically pleasing objective system: visualised front lines, multiple objectives(covering air fighters, surveilance, etc).
Aircraft are the foundation of what this game was built on yet it’s been neglected for a long, long time.
Multiple objectives at different areas of the map also make for strike aircraft to have more use(especially in higher tiers, where fighters ‘steal’ their targets before a bomber/strike aircraft is even halfway there), rather than having basically every ground objective clumped into the centre of the map where most furballs occur. Like 80% of the maps are actually unused.
They won’t give us RB EC but better objectives and a more ‘active’ battlefield would really freshen up the gamemode.
