Air RB/SB **Proposed** BR change list

Ngl I prefer USA aircraft, I think by far they have the best options except at top tier, since I have used their top tier cas.

But for everything else they are king.

it’s such a bizarre world in warthunder where Russia has the op cas and the US isn’t allowed stuff from the 80s because it’ll be overpowered apparently, we can get the fake kh38mt but no mmw brimstones.

P-59A: 5.7
BI: 6.7

P-59a is an absolute menace taking 13g turns, while the Bi locks out at 9gs.

I mean tbf the Su-39 is missing about half of its weapons, including but not limited to R-27s, R-77s, etc

Idk I think it is.

One has two 20mms and 90 rnds

The other has a 37mm and .50 cals which in total if I recall correctly has 500 rnds.

Bi has the speed.

P-59A is a turn fight demon from hell. I’ve won 1v5s with the P-59A but never a 2v1 in the Bi.

i have surprisingly managed to keep some what decent stats in that thing, its a pretty sad plane but its not complete dog water due to its br

And now it’s pretty much THE worst high tier jet in Warthunder. It was only ever good cuz hype and aura surrounding top gun.

I would argue the sea harriers and tornados are worse at high tier.
F14s are fine

The Tornados ATLEAST have good missiles. The F-14s can’t even claim that much. Idk much abt the British sea harriers, but the American ones, although not great, seem to perform ok.

the only thing the bI is limited is fuel and cannon rounds. Props do not rlly have a choice since their only hope is to get fast enogh to lock the BI´s tail
(I´m also aware of the p59 having great turnfight potential with good guns but its not nearly as bad as the rocket plane)

Any lower and the F-14 would functionally remove climbing from the match if it is in it. I suggest giving the A and B 9Ls and 9Ms respectively, so they don’t remove SARH BVR from the game.

Um no. It doesn’t need 9Ms. The A could get a limited quantity of 9Ls, but it is a very good BVR shoot and scoot plane. Especially the Iranian one.

La-200 ARB 7.7→8.0
Very fast, surprisingly nimble, with good flight characteristics all around should put this plane on par with other 8.0 planes.

Tu-14T ARB 8.0→7.7
It’s a slower IL-28 without any other meaningful advantages.

Me-262 (all TT fighter variants) ARB move down by 0.3, and give them an interceptor air spawn.
Me-262 A-1a/U1 ARB 7.3→6.7
All of the Me-262s are just bad, and they will need an airspawn to remain somewhat usable. Their power and poor flight performance prevent them from being good at 7.0 and 7.3.

Every 8.0, 8.3, and 8.7 Mig-15/Mig-17/F-86 needs to go up in BR, excluding the Cl.13 Mk.4. They are by far the best performing planes for their BR, and are undertiered if compared to other planes like the G.91s, A-4s, Alpha Jets, Swifts, or J29s.

The F-14B definitely does, but the A will be fine with just Aim-9Ls.

600 rnds of 12.7mm (3 guns, with the 1 hit wonder of .50 cals that always light fires)
45 rnds of 37mm
Tough airframe
Max speed 429, but will do 473 mph before breaking apart
Turn time: 10.2 secs at 310 mph
2 engines.
70% empty space.

Bi:
2 mins fuel
90 rnds for two 20mms (kinda crap belts)
Controls lock out at 485 mph
Weak airframe
Max speed 497, but will do 520 mph before it breaks apart.
Turn time: 17.4 secs at 370 mph
1 engine
70% fuel / ammo.
Very good acceleration

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it doesn’t appear you own either of these. I do.

Moving em all down by 0.3 is already a bit of a stretch, but giving them all air spawn as well is simply going too far.

Mind you, the 262s face prop planes.

It’s a 12.7 in sim and a 13.0 in RB. It would easily become a 13.0 in sim if it got 9Ms.

The F-14B also has an insanely high amount of counter measures… which makes it rather good.
