It’s just an open mind.
I had to learn how to play as a team with no communication because I grew up on BF 1942.
Voice comms wouldn’t be anywhere fast until around 2010 for PC, and wouldn’t be a standard practice until Discord.
Non-verbal team play is something I was forced to learn and spot, and most multiplayer gamers at and over my age have this skill because we were forced to learn it.
If you don’t see communication, that doesn’t mean you don’t have guardians around the map; it’s largely older people still use to no communication team play doing their best to help the team.
I wouldn’t start learning good communication in PVP until 2016 when Discord came, 12 years after I first played Battlefield 1942. 12 years of team play habit with little to no communication.
People in ground sim are only now starting to spam positioning for their team… after over 7 years.
So be patient with those that are still learning new methods, and be more cognitive of team mates that are helping without communicating.
