[Air RB] Missing missle indicator and notching

Can someone tell me which mechanic I don’t understand? I don’t see any missile indicators at all. There is no issue at BR 10–11, but above BR 12 there is no chance to see anything.

The RWR is screaming, I’m trying to fly defensively, but I keep dying without any idea whether I notched correctly or not. Without this indicator the learning curve is insane.

Is this some kind of bug, or is it an intended mechanic (no missile smoke, crew training, or something else)? Thanks for help!

It’s intended. Missile indicators only show up when the missile is burning, and at closer ranges, so long range shots don’t give any warning outside of your RWR.

As for knowing you’ve dodged them, you’ll either see the missile indicator swap to the other side, or see it go to behind you. You can also hear them go past you sometimes.
