Air Modes that need to be considered

There’s various different modes that are available in the game for Air Battles, I mostly play Arcade but would really love to play RB but just don’t like the current way Air RB works. I do play Ground RB and love Dogfighting in that mode but I think there needs to be a few options for players such as myself.

First I do want to point out that this is simply a general Air Battles mode overview so I’ll look into both AB and RB

AB: I hate domination and want it to be removed entirely or at least give us the option to ban a specific type of battle. Unlike with Ground battles the different types of battles change the way you have to play and Domination is just Dogfight Simulator the entire time. No reason to use anything else besides fighters. If it were up to me I’d make the gamemodes for Air Battles in Arcade at least be Bannable instead of maps since the maps don’t really provide much besides scenery to fight in

PvE AB/RB: Helicopters get this mode and I believe this should be available as well for regular aircraft. PvE for those who’ve never played it is simply EC but with players on the same team working to complete various objectives. The main threat in Helicopter PvE is ground AA for the most part and that could be given consideration but I can see there being multiple missions available for all types of aircraft in the game. Bombers do base bombing or can double as ground support for when those pop up, Fighters obviously have various enemies that can pop up with Bomber Formations and Attacker formations, and finally attack aircraft can assist in the ground battles that take place. Easy way for casual players such like myself to actually just relax a bit instead of having to deal with the constant PvP

RB/AB Enduring Confrontation: As someone who’s also played sim battles, I love EC. The gamemode is meant for long drawn out combat and is meant for players who want a more methodical playstyle. This could also be recreations of certain combat scenarios like what I’ve heard RB modes used to be like. Not only that but having the ground mission take priority over killing other players it puts less emphasis on fighters while still giving them a reason to play the game and PvP. You want to destroy the enemy planes to keep them from assisting in the ground operation but at the same time you also need to juggle that with also supporting the ground units.

TL:DR
Allow AB players to remove modes or opt out of certain modes IE Domination/Ground Strike/Front Line

Allow for a PvE mode similar to Helicopters and also allow for EC as a regular mode for all difficulties instead of just as a Sim Battle exclusive.

How about helicopter battles? itz just grb maps with arb AIs and helicopters fight each other. I’d rather play HRB than PvE

EC if properly developed could be turned into a single cohesive game mode for all unit types simultaneously. The key is a PvE-focused longform game mode, because all unit types can do PvE well, but only some can do PvP effectively.

PvP is not bad, but having the ability to end matches on PvP alone IS. Ground Attack Aircraft and Bombers are not good at Air-to-Air PvP. Frankly, the majority of work Helicopters do is not Air-to-Air PvP. A similar dichotomy exists for tanks, ships, PT boats, submarines, and infantry.

that’s kind of my point here with having Air PvE similar to how Helicopters have a PvE mode or just expanding Sim style EC to the other difficulty levels. in EC you have various objectives and if you want to PVP you can but you can also just ground pound the whole match or base bomb since that’s also a target available and they respawn regularly. My real issue with playing Air RB is simply that it’s a fighter vs fighter PVP focused version of the game where I really would want something that every aircraft has a role it CAN play and be rewarded for it like EC allows for. Larger map, multiple targets for Air to Air combat as well as for Air to Ground and a wealth of Bombing Targets for those who wanna play the heavy bombers. Not only that but the gameplay is usually a lot slower paced and less chaotic.
