Notice how planes are basically useless now in Naval. Lookout planes and bombers are a joke now and can’t even get close before getting shot down. Can you please fix this problem.

It’s ridiculous now, AA from ships hitting an airplane at 8KM, not even AAA from airfields can hit it from that far away. And this also applies to blue water ships hitting boats with AA. Before, although it wasn’t easy, you could get close with a boat using skill. Now you die almost instantly at about 3-4km from the blue water ship.
I got hit by AI which was firing main gun at my plane in more than 10K distance, just one minute after I spawned with my bomber. Before, they only firing AA at you around 4K distance, any slow plane is screwed in this patch.
you describe only the open fire beyond range - if the plane or boat was really out of range so no hits would occur? So is “your” bug related to hits happen even if out of range or something else? Additonally no “classic” (no radar guidance) light or medium AA can hit so often at these distances - but due to another post of you this precision is no bug?
Range is bug, accuracy is price for new rewards for bots.
sounds not logical to me - even the ai AA and secondaries of players vessels are now that precise. I didn’t had the impression that prev. to the aimbot update the ai ships are that easy kills.
BTW - is there any statement or note from GJ about this change? If so I missed it.
They weren’t easy kill but the done low to nothing offensive to player ships. And that was a problem you spend same time to kill them and get 10 times less reward. Now they on the level of a new player(besides the bugs).
I agree, at the moment, an air spawn is a waste. Not even fighters make any sense.
How did the bug make it into the patch? Theories?
just finished a bp-task “killing 9 vessels by a strike fighter” - prev. to the aimbot patch I needed maybe about 10 matches (playing coastals about BR 3.3) Now I needed 30 matches - I managed to get into plane in every match but was mostly shot down before able to drop or dropped from height and missed. Even suicide attacks were often w/o success - the dropped bomb was hit in-air by aa fire (this is not related to the aimbot patch). I expect that someone comes around with “skill issue” but the precision of ai AA fire (bots and players) has increased by factor 2-3. Its also notable that less planes were spawned - so every battle pass task with killing planes in naval is much more difficult to finish.
Yeah that and the “kill X vessels with bomber” used to be really easy tasks - I change mode or change task when I get those now!
Another thing is that they drastically reduced the area effect of bombs on water in an earlier update. Now unless you score a direct hit, it’s near impossible to kill bluewater ships unless it’s with a chungus like the FAB-5000 on the Pe-8. I get that the effect of bombs exploding in water is more realistic now, but all it’s done is make bombers even more useless.
I can live with nerfing bombers so they have to be lucky or drop from very low, in order to make the game more realistic. I could understand if Gaijin wants the focus shift to mines and torpedos. But with an AA effect as of now, this can’t happen. Planes and Boats can not operate anywhere near ships or sturdy coastals with AA capabilities.
As everything dies quickly aside from large units, research is very low too.
a few patches ago they fixed a bug that the bomb didn’t explode at impact on water - but now the bug seemed to be returned (happens quite often) - a near bomb miss should do a lot of damage due to the shockwave in water - same as the new hydraulic effect with torps. But really annoying is that bombs quite often explode after dropping - I doubt this happened so often in RL - very frustrating!
Oh that’s a bug? I honestly thought that was changed on purpose to nerf bombers. By contrast torpedoes feel more powerful. It’s a joy to use the British Hellcat now
there was a patchnote a few weeks ago about the bomb impact in water - but yesterday I had a few near misses which caused only minor damage (on destr.)
Regarding torps (I use the UK wildcat too) I would expect thats now nearly impossible to get in range before annihilated by the ki aa
there is a bug that shot don’t damage from underwater too Community Bug Reporting System , and bombs and shells don’t have hydraulic shock when torps got it.
There’s also a bug that allows Gaijin to release unfinished patch that completely alters gameplay of an entire match mode.
