Indeed, as I have posted in one of the similar threads before I found this thread, I shared a similar frustration.
I’ve mentioned that I’ve adapted to the new aiming system (though I dislike it and prefer the old one). However, based on my observations, the current AI anti-aircraft performance is excessively punishing and desperately needs to be toned down. They will immediately shoot you the moment you spawn an aircraft unless you snake aggressively to throw off their aim. This makes it impossible to use CAS/bombers to turn the tide of a losing match after you are out of ships unless you’re flying an exceptionally fast or agile bomber.
There are simple solutions to this issue: decrease AI engagement range against aircraft and normalize or average AI’s AAA accuracy stats instead of current maxed-out stats and behaving like a terminator.
Getting instantly deleted at 3-4 km from spawn by AAA gunfire isn’t just unfun - it is also immersion-breaking and game-breaking. At this rate, why bother bringing your crewed aircraft to the NAB?

I will take personal responsibility for Ganjin making sea planes IMPOSSIBLE.
I was capping with one every match and earned a lot of SLs so they had to take it from me.
Sea plane ships are now worth zero.

played some battles today - I have the impression that the ai aa was tuned down? Or am I wrong?

AI being better than players at AA has been a problem for a long time. It’s just worse now. Nothing more frustrating than an AI 206 screening for the players and keeping you from testing yourself against real people.
Also, Bots should not be allowed meta boats like the 206 or SKR

if so - why its not mentioned in the patch notes? usually they mention every even cosmetic fix - like “added moustache to italy gunner in Breda TD → bug report ####”
There are often small “secret” patches w/o any patchnotes - maybe the fix was contained in one of them. My impression is that GJ don’t want to mention this bug which had a huge effect on naval gameplay in the last 4 weeks…

but they broke your AI controlled guns aiming when you are turning with this fix, now it again shift aiming point sideways with turn

I’m not here to play against terrible AI bots who don’t act intelligently, so they’re “balanced” by extending their range and inhuman accuracy. That’s not fun. Plain and Simple. Being shot down by a person. Fair. Being shot down by a line of code with cheat mode on is not fair, nor fun.
