[Dev server, this could all change]
In the dev server we have been treated to a new mechanic, aiming point selection (APS).
As far as I can tell this mechanic is intended for use to automatically queue up targets, and then with the push of a button be able to fire munitions at them. And for GPS guided munitions this works great. But for TV munitions I’ve had some trouble with it, as in it is unnecessarily complex to utilize.
To use TV munitions with APS you need to slave the point of interest to the APS, then enter seeker view, then fire, then exit seeker view (to allow it to go to the point of interest), then select the next target. At that point you can do the whole process again.
I’m currently using a macro to do all of this for me, as I don’t want to keep track of several keybinds, all pressed in a specific order to utilize the mechanic.
Is there a better way to do this? If not we should definitely get a system to where the APS overrides the aiming point of TV seekers to the next target so I don’t have to do this in/out shenanigans.
