I’ve never said USA did tested Tomcat with R-73, he needs to learn how to read.
Buddy on my sentence it says: ‘‘USA didnt tested F-14 with R73’’.
How hard is to understand lmao.
then that shouldn’t happen and feel free to make a bug report. as i said again, make the game better not worse r73 isn’t gonna be added to f14 due to lack of evidence.
Well the weird part is R-27 being outranged by AIM-7, contrary to belief, the axe head fins don’t produce high drag.
I was basing my opinion on using aim7f 2 years ago I really haven’t used them that much most recently except aim7m when apparently aim 7f was capable of way farther shots than it should have been
hey at least its accurate to irl
Thr AIM-154 was designed to shoot down bombers, not a aware fast moving and manoverable fighter.
So no, it’s not «underperforming»
wrong
the aim54 has 25g of maneuverability irl. ingame its not modelled as dual plane is modelled. but it would absolutely be able to shoot down fighters. and it was
exactly, and this shit was close range
AIM-54 is so useless on F-14B that i considered carrying AIM-7 only but then i remembered my F-15A is literally at the same BR which is better in every way and has 9M and all aspect radar and better FM and it hit me like a truck
Never threaten me with that PowerPoint transition at the end again
technically aim 7 only had these failures on early misssiles due to poor maintentece when properly serviced they worked very well
A more accurate analogy would be, saying the Aim-9P is a copy of the Aim-9J
In this brochure for the AIM-54 Phoenix, it even mentions this which surprised me:
Those are actually a copy.
Maybe a better one would be aim9b and aim9e.
Just like the Fakour 90s. They’re as close of copies as possible by the Iranians.
Aim54: 14350 force for 30 sec
Fakour: 83900 force for 5 sec and 12400 force for 21 sec
How is this the same?
Fakours use a hawk motor
