why is gaijin so afraid of buffing the AIM 54C to IRL specs when we got things like r27er and aim 120s and R77s ingame

Can’t speak for maximum speed, but G pull is perfect. Remember war thunder doesn’t model duel plane maneuverability/g pull
then it shouldnt be 13.0 go back to 12.7 where it belongs not to mention its reduced smoke motor not being modeled

the fakour should be set 17gs then as its a very stupid they allow a copy to out perform the orginal

it still a copy ? that should not have been added should have made it a skin
If they gave it fatter and R-73 it would be pretty unique though

plus if im not wrong since its a copy shouldnt it also be limited by dual plane limitations
I guess? Doesn’t it use MIM-23 body so would have different fins?
F-14B is fine at 13.0, I would agree with the F-14A IRIAF going back down though,
I don’t know anything about the Fakour-90 but I am pretty sure it’s got different fins and stuff.

theres no reason they cant add the 25G lead pull as a place holder not to mention the R27ER is at same br
compared to equivlent 13.0s its pretty bad gets aim9L missile which is not very flare resistant because of lack IRRCM FM wise its fine not to mentions its radar is hampared heavily just .3 higher su33 out performs you in every aspect and you dont even need to grind a tech tree for it

Yeah, that still needs added.
Saying the fakour is a copy of the aim54 is like saying the aim9g is a copy of the aim9j.
Then you would have to add it to all other dual-plane missiles.
Im all for them adding dual-plane but they need to add it to everything and not just one.
Because that’s in dual plane, which was thunder doesn’t model. It’s not that they can’t, it’s that they don’t, for balance reasons.
F-14 IRIAF is worse, and you don’t see people complaining about that being too high? That carries AIM-9P, and it barely has an RWR.
F-14B and SU-33 are at the same BR, and they’re equivalents.
hell no. the su33 is better in every way conceivable. it carries more much better missiles and has a better radar.

It shouldnt, F-14 IRIAF single handedly destroyed 11.7-12.7 MM due to its Fakours.
If anything it could get R73 in exchange for loosing R27R1 cause it couldnt use R27 from the first place.

Remove Fakour-90, give it 12.7, it would be fine.
