Hello everyone, I’m a ground main and recently decided to get into air for curiosity and to extend my skills on the game overall.
I started with Sweden and played the B18 and Mosquito J30 to farm my way up to the first jets, my very first being the SAAB SK60B.
I don’t know how to dogfight and only know a few theorical stuff such as speed and altitude being very important, but when it comes to maneuvers, techniques and stuff like that, I’m actually pretty clueless.
I managed to shoot down a few enemies and I wanted to share 2 of the best clips to ask for advice and basically for someone with experience to tell me what I did wrong, what I did well, what I should know for the future etc.
Just give me a review of these clips and tell me what you think, I’d appreciate it deeply!
The clips are 1v1s against an ME 262 and an F80.
I also have another issue but this is going to come with time, it’s that I don’t know most planes in facing… I don’t know their weaknesses, where they thrive, how to fight each correctly and use their weaknesses at my advantage. I have Historical knowledge so I know some bits, but I don’t know how to exploit that in the game if it makes sense… I know the ME 262 is the first jet-powered plane to enter actual service so I assumed it wasn’t on point and so I deducted that its turn rate and acceleration wouldn’t be that good, so I decided to play with the turn rate, which worked. I have no idea if the player I was facing was good or not, these 2 clips most probably were luck siding with me but yea… I won’t yap any longer.
