Title:
Addition of “All” Option in Salvo Length Settings

Description:
Currently, the secondary weapons selector in War Thunder allows players to choose salvo length values such as 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / Salvo. While this works for many use cases, it can be insufficient in situations where players want to release their entire payload at once.

The existing Salvo option still drops ordnance with a very short interval between releases, which prevents precise concentration of all bombs on a single target. This issue becomes especially apparent when bombing from higher altitudes (e.g. 5,000 meters), where even small dispersions can cause bombs to miss the intended target.

It is worth noting that the game already includes a function to release all secondary weapons at once, but this currently requires binding a separate key/button in the controls menu. This function does not work when the weapon selector is enabled, meaning players must choose between using the selector or using a dedicated “drop all” key. Adding an All option directly into the salvo length menu would integrate this functionality into the existing system and make it more intuitive and accessible.

The updated selector would then appear as:
2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / S / A
(where A = All)

Advantages:

  • Provides players with more flexibility when choosing how to release bombs.
  • Improves accuracy against small or compact targets such as bases, airfield modules, or ships.
  • Makes the existing “drop all” function usable with the weapon selector.
  • Matches historical capabilities of many aircraft that could drop all bombs at once.
  • Integrates naturally into the existing salvo length system without adding new controls.

Implementation details:

  • Add an “All” option to the current salvo length selector.
  • When selected, pressing the bomb release key would instantly drop all bombs carried by the aircraft.
  • Works with any bomb type or loadout.
  • Does not affect game balance, as it only provides another option for existing mechanics.

I have wanted this for so long. +1 but would also like a ability to set the amount of bombs dropped at once in a menu so I can drop say like 5 bombs at once instead of quickly dropping 4 then 1 bomb.
