Carrier landings…. Ok, I’m not certain I get a better view than I could get with canopy closed, but it looks and feels “right,” and is cool af. I miss it in aircraft that can’t slide the hood back.
That said, doing it in combat - in supersonic jets, of all things - is the very definition of dweeeeeeeebery.
