As i have said before the really need to add the hellfire 114L the su30sm is WAY too op with it’s fire and forget missiles. And the way I get killed by pantsir after 5 seconds of spawning in a helicopter I really think it’s time to add them. The pants missiles travel so fast I really don’t have a chance to shoot him before the missile hits me.
Many helis and aircraft have fire and forget. And NO it’s not to OP to add hellfire 114L if every Russian has it every single game.

yea hellfire suck at direct fire and will be no match for pantsir, but you should learn how to do the “blind fire” trick. I was struggling at first but after I learned and practice with this trick, it’s not that bad.

IL2 or any WW2 ERA (maybe up to early cold war era) at least need to get close to SPAA range WWII CAS are mostly decided by which one being fast and carry more bomb tbh WWII CAS at least need some practice to land bomb (with few exception of very big ass bomb) to be effective otherwise it ends up being Kamikaze bombing or miss it still the problem yes but at least it not completely skills less and need some practice.
they could atleast fix the helfire flight profile, curently it has the drawbacks of both direct and top attack without the advantages of either
it doesnt go high enough to properly top attack so it hits the front armor of the target and it flys at a high AOA so it bleeds too much energy causing it to strike at way too low of a speed making it very hard to make last second corrections.
while flying a longer distance increasing time to impact over direct fire meaning you need to be exposed for longer
but I agree, the 114L would not be overpowered currently unless they gave it very reliable LOAL capability, but they could easily fix that by requiring radar lock to launch like they do for all other ARH missiles
Or they could just add spike missiles that are already in the game. The ah-129D has it and the EC-665 Tiger UHT has 8 Pars 3 LR

Yeah that kinda sucks, but as i have said before i think they should add the ah64e in a future update or next. The hellfires really suck as the range on them is only 8km while the spikes and pars 3 can reach 20km
IRL 114k is quoted as 11km range but even that wont matter unless they fix the flight path because that is in the true top attack profile, and the made up one in game would absolutely not be able to reach that range (it cant even really hit the 8km)
They won’t add it for the same reason they won’t add MMW brimstones, you’ll have to wait for the Spike or Maverick

I know but if they would add the ah64e they would just make a reskin of the ah64d with spikes anyways for ”balancing reasons”
I would take 4 spikes instead of 16 hellfires
The hellfires also have really bad maneuverability
And extremely slow
that is partially a symptom of the incorrect flight path
they are striking the target at a much lower velocity than they should so they cant turn as well as they should when they are about to impact

iirc can be guided in using man in loop, bassically launch missile, hide behind rock, remotely control the missile from its POV
