Prove that the AGM-114L is IR guided like AGM-65, Kh-38, etc.

Soviets don’t have radar guided AGMs like AGM-114L.

Just wait for AH-64E with SPIKEs.

I forgot to specify, my post has been amended.
My overall point is radar guided munitions are not needed, and there are Apaches with IR guided options they can add instead.

No. The ability to ripple 16 Fnf missiles with essentially 2 clicks is even more crazy than the KH38s.

I agree with this. Hopefully they come with the radar mode for Brimstone. Either that or add it in as an IIR missile as a stopgap. Which is what they should’ve done for Brim.

mavs already barely hit targets at 6km on the deck in game, I cant imagine how short of range and easy to intercept they would be on a heli

there is an accepted bug report on their motor performance but its been sitting for like a year with no fix

US doesn’t have 9.2km range tandem charge heat airburst proximity fuse ATGMs and no other nation had 40km range F+F IR+IOG when they added the Kh-38/25SM3

  • 114L will be unbalanced
  • Spike-NLOS is fine

@llSolitairell-psn IR guidance is balanced, radar guidance is not.

On top of that, USA does have a tandem ATGM with 50% more pen than TOW-2 and Vikhr.
Proximity fuse is not a benefit against tanks.
Oh, and Vikhr/AGM-114 carriers are always within SPAA range.

And no tech tree had 40km range because the maximum game range was 20km, and the Kh-38MT’s IR seeker is still just copy paste AGM-65D/G seeker.
As of now, 2 - 3 tech trees have 30km laser guided munitions.

CAS VS SAM is very unbalanced. Except if you’re Russia. France and Britain can get the Pantsir directly but other than that… Ehh. G6-HVM for Britain is the closest you’re going to get. I guess if Isreal steals some off of the Iraqi’s or Syrians.

Pantsir gets out-ranged by 3km to double range.
