Console not have the open market availability should just have all premiums past and present added to their premiums list. Tanks like the IS7, E100, Maus and so many more rare tanks that never go up for sale or even get marketed anymore.
Console can’t ruin the PC market and really it’s just an incentive for the snail to make hand over fist on console players there is no negative downside to it.
Events for rare vehicles people actually want are already far and few between for past vehicles. Events should be player driven, or at least given an option to choose between X type vehicles in an event through a poll or something along those lines. But that topic can be curbed for a whole other thread that I’m sure is out there.

Yeah I knew the Maus is once a week, once a year but still, that’s too far apart and too short of a time tho absolutely doable if you’ve gotten to rank 5 German tanks. But still there’s other vehicles that are never offered up. And console has zero effect to the PC market.
And gotcha boxes are absolutely never worth it. Idk why Gaijin even still has them. You can get them for free, but have to pay to open them which isn’t worth it. A skin will never be worth $8 and the odds of receiving a vehicle is like 1 in 2 million since low rarity items are often in the cycle more than twice. Gotcha chest should just be removed or allow you to choose your reward within a +/- of 1 of what you landed on.
I see absolutely no negative downside to adding them all only to console to be purchased at any given time one chooses to. I fully understand why on PC since they have a player driven market but that isn’t the same case for consoles.
The prices of premium vehicles never change. And just putting them all on the side of the tech trees for GE on console is as easy as a handful of button presses for them. So doing it just for console isn’t hard.
You’re missing some information on your thoughts. PC has an open market they can use to buy and sell premiums they have in a coupon variant. Console does not have this player driven market. It’s a complete separate thing.
Buying a premium vehicle on console makes it just a vehicle. To sell on PC market place it’s got to be a coupon version. Again nullifies that whole aspect.

What I just said is a workaround for people who really want those vehicles, they can skip the market entirely since they won’t be wanting the coupon anyway
Then they would have to start from a whole new account. Which just means more money for the snail. It still doesn’t affect the PC market on their rare vehicles. Plus account transferring has been put on an indefinite hold. So no one can do that until they Reestablish the processing again which they can choose not to do. There is no ETA on opening that back up.
You don’t have to research it all within a week. Just put one research into it and it will stay researchable even after the event is over, and you can finish it whenever you want.
Yeah I read the article. Pretty sure every time I put War Thunder down it’s always late in the year for new releases coming out. Makes sense why I’ve missed the Maus so many times.

I think you underestimate how many people would restart console accounts and transfer to pc eventually when transfers reopen, and that would affect the pc market directly.
That’s what, like maybe 3 vehicles? I know the XM-1 being one and the F4U-B VMF-214. Not sure how many others there are but not nearly as many as you’d think. But PC has many more exclusives items, not vehicles that I know of but any small pack released for a short time is never brought over to consoles.
But I can completely get behind that. lol.
@ATomiXツ The whole console to PC transferring seems so pointless to me except the ability to gain access to the open market to get stuff you missed previously. They could just add a clause that certain vehicles will not transfer to PC from console. That would curb that whole shenanigans, tho I’m sure people have don’t just that to get the exclusives from consoles. Indefinitely suspend account transfers and open up the floodgates for consoles to get all premiums or just do what they do for consoles, get rid of the market for PC and make coupons only worth war bucks like they do on console and give us the same trash in the war bond shop repeatedly.
At the end of the day, a player driven market seems cool but is always a poor decision to do.
