Add all premiums to console

Yeah, I’m pretty much of the mind that everyone should have access to everything. The ship, F4U-B, and Chrysler I’d actually love to have, and I know console players would want the PC exclusives.

There are a few console exclusive premium vehicles that I would buy, but I’m on PC so I cannot have them. As for past event vehicles, it would be unfair to offer them to everybody on console when the people who worked hard to earn them. But I always wanted an event where you could unlock an event vehicle of your choice from past events. The catch would be that the vehicle would only be unlocked for your account and not offered as a coupon.

Eventually, yes.

Unfair how? The player count on console is probably 5% of the total players on War Thunder, probably less if you counted steady active users over a year. Those who put time and effort into getting them, I get that but also the likes of the IS7, which was what, only offered in pvp tournaments in the Esports? Yeah that’s just moronic to exclude the other 99% of players when Esports teams already get exclusive skins. Cosmetics should be THEE only exclusivity item in gaming, not actual effecting items to gameplay. But also players start playing the game at different times of war thunders lifetime and are completely excluded of having the chance to earn those vehicles, which is scummy af and nullifies that argument that it devalues that effort when there’s no effort to get them at all by other players.

Still it all comes down to, console should still get all premiums and just make them non-transferable if people are so worried about market value even if they can’t be sold since premiums bought with GE can’t be coupons. Still would make hand over fist in money for gaijin. Market would stay the same on PC and they would have a generous influx in cash to fix shit that’s years old and still broken.

Least World of Tanks does it right with their premiums.

Here an idea, if the market was worth something they could just close it out, transfer all gaijin coins to GE and buyout everything in market for GE after locking it out. Anything that was posted over a month ago they get the cash out of GE and anything posted within the last month gets sent back to the seller. That would completely end that whole discussion and open the whole premium market up on everything including exclusives. lol. I’m sure those market players would hate this but in the end that would be a win/win for masses including Gaijin. Ratio would be 1 Gaijin coin to 150GE since that’s what it equates to anyways. But that’s just a left field type idea. lol.

I know how you feel cause I used to play this game on PS4 when the Gaijin Market was created, even before the game was available to XBox, and I’ve been asking for console players access to the Gaijin Market since the market was announced, even before it went live. The only alternative you have right now is to unlock your account and move to PC but those vehicles you want are really rare there or very expensive. I’m not even sure if I ever saw a E-100 there, I thought that one was a tournament vehicle only. For an IS-7 you have to pay around 1500GJN when it’s available, and the current price for the Object 279 is 900GJN.

As a PC player you get so much more advantages that I’m sure that any console player would switch places with you. I did and left my PS exclusive A-26 that I paid full price on my PS4. But I completely agree with you, there shouldn’t be any exclusive items in this game, including the ones offered on the Gaijin Market.

Yet, they are offered to PC players that never worked hard to earn them. I own most cause I’ve earned them but I’m ok that other players have access to them since they may have missed those events for simply not playing the game yet.

Yeah, I miss the times when this game didn’t had a Gaijin Market and people would actually play events for getting those vehicles, and not to profit on them.

The best way to solve the rampant, unhealthy profiteering on the market would be to remove the ability to trade coupons more than once.

If you grind an event you could either keep the vehicle or get a coupon, but whoever buys it from you has the vehicle automatically activated on their account. This would ensure the market is actually about the vehicles themselves, instead of some awful stock market like system.

Jokes apart. Isn’t the aim assist good enough?

I would prefer that the game would be about the vehicles themselves, instead of a game to be market based like it has been for the last years.

those are event vehicles, good luck with that since they are all apart of a market on pc and handing those out like candy would disrupt said market for the worse. (people will make new accounts nab them then link accounts go to pc to sell them)

I’m sorry to say it but this is one of the most ridiculous and ignorant excuses I keep seeing PC players bring to this forum. And some even call it cheating, when at the same time they may be playing with ultra low graphics. If you never tried to play this game on a console with a controller, then do it first and then come back to share the experience, if not then you really don’t know what you are talking about.

Do you even know that your planes turn less with a controller while using default controls compared to someone using a keyboard? Now, can you see the disadvantage that creates in a dogfight or even on a 1v1 duel tournament?

And how often do you see console players whine about that?

Someone with all the advantages that PC players have in this game should really be ashamed to even suggest that console players have some kind of advantage over them.

You can’t transfer market items from a console to a PC account…

“5) All “market” inventory items, such as unused vehicle and skin coupons and trophies, will remain on the original account. If you want to keep the content provided by those items on new PC account, you have to consume them before transfer. But boosters, wagers, orders, discount coupons etc will be transferred to new account.”

Same for XBox players moving to PC.

either way, no. We dont get them on PC either unless we spend a grand.

I also see no negative…
I assume it is a market thing…they add “limited” time so players will feel the need to buy IMMEDIATELY i guess…not sure it it works or not. Having all premiums always available would eventually improve sales also.
There is also the “added value” of rare objects…if something is available only to some it becomes more expensive…stupid as it may sound, it is a universal rule.

And of course that if they did this for consoles…PC players would come to forum asking for the same thing…

I think that is what console players are asking, a way to get those vehicles, even if it costs a “grand”. Just like most PC players can.

There is a very persistent PC player(@richthofen122 )on this forum that couldn’t get the IS-7 during it’s event and that paid a “grand” for it, asking exactly the same thing, a way to get past event vehicles for those that weren’t here then. I earned mine during those events and I don’t see any problem for those players to have a way to get them, not for free or handed out like candy.

Even if they added a complete event tab for just consoles to get those past vehicles, only once in a non-coupon form. Majority of the highly wanted vehicles console players want won’t ever be in events again such as the IS7, E100, Onject 279.

And to whomever said that console has aim assist, we don’t. Never have, never will. All we have is a button to track air targets, and that just for the camera view you still have to aim within that view. And this only effects arcade and realistic, I don’t play sim because it’s nearly impossible on controller due to button limitation so I can’t comment on that.

But so far, the closest to a negative downside to this being done for only console players has been people will create new accounts on console and try to wait for the account transfer to open back up. Which I’m completely content with never having that option open up, if people wanted to get access to PC market they can make new accounts also just like if PC users wanted the premiums on console. And again this can be completely blocked by just putting a clause that certain vehicle are not transferable with accounts from console to PC with a huge warning in wanting to transfer your accounts. This still makes it so that there is no ruining PC’s precious market that console doesn’t have.

As someone else mention above, making coupons only transferable once would ensure the PC market is only about the vehicle and not a market for profiting. Which anyone with a brain knows people do use it for profiting.

At the end of the day there still is no real downside to giving console access to all premiums from the past that never show up again.
